I am a little furious at the way my children were treated at Reid Hospital this morning. The ER Dr. on duty decided to pry my 19 month old daughters mouth open with a tongue depressor, rather than letting my wife handle the situation. He also busted the side of my 3 year old sons mouth because he was too impatient to give my wife just a couple of minutes to calm the children down.

From what she told me the Doc decided to jab the toungue depressor into the corner of my daughter's mouth leaving her with a bruise the size of a dime. My son has a minor cut on the corner of his mouth. As there Father I feel like going up there and punching him in the corner of the mouth, and asking him how it feels to be mistreated. Imagine how my youngin's felt last night. This is an outrage. Any doctor who is treating someones children should give the parent a chance to calm the child before using brute force to pry their mouth open.

One visit earleir this year to the ER The doctor told me they only treat a fever because it makes the child uncomfortable but it cannot kill him. I guess a fever over 105 doesn't cause brain damage anymore or death for that matter. What kind of Kingdom Hospital(Stephen King TV Series)are you people running up there.

I understand that the doctors are overworked and stressed but that is no reason to mistreat a child. Mine or anyone elses for that matter. Let alone tell a parent that a high fever won;t cause brain damage or even death. I do respect the fact that the majority of Reid's Doctors are good, caring, doctors but the idiots like I described above need to be fired and sent back to the hills they came from. Where did these guys get their Degree? Colombia or torture school through the CIA. Suprised they didn't waterboard or stick bamboo shoots in their fingernails for not complying fast enough.
