Where are our police?

I don't think it's the council. I think that if the police around here actually did something then maybe the council and everyone else would stand behind them. I don't know how many times i see a couple cops parked talkintg to each other in a parking lot

So MizGossip,what's wrong with two Police Officers talking to each other?,discussing Police business you think.hell no wonder the Police Officers use cell phones, otherwise some busy body like you,or someone that just don't like the Police will have something to complain on topix about.

OH,one more thing,MizGossip you said if the Police would actually do something maybe people would stand behind them. I stand by them 100% for what they do,it is the druggies drunks etc.that don't stand behind them because they do to much.(FACT)people that critize Police Officers are violaters of the Law.

RPD did not buy the Harleys. They are leased. Although I don't agree with that dicision I know they are trying it as a cost saving measure. They are probably parking more too instead of constantly driving, to save on gas. The people who complan the most about service are the people who are the loudest when it comes to paying taxes.

I pay my taxes, I am not a violater of the law, I don't use drugs and I don't drink. I would absolutely love to stand behind our police. But when there isn't a damn thing going on and there is a wreck and they take 3 hours to get to the scene that is rediculous.

Well, if you drive by Speedway on East Main St at approx. 11pm-12am...all of the police are there hanging out. Seriously, I have seen up to 8 cop cars there at one time before. Esp. when its cold, they stand around inside eating hotdogs and drinking coffee. How are they fighting crime if the entire night force is on the east side of town talking over hotdogs?

what town you in? we have no speedway on east main. as a matter of fact we do not have a main street!!!

Well Willis, if you would look , the very same topic and comments are on both sites.

RPD doesn't ride the Harleys on days when they could. They only wanted them as toys for the boys. Recently, on a nice day, one of the boys in blue ( a Harley team member) was in his Crown Vic. HQ thought he was on the bike, but he wasn't!

If you do or sell drugs you won't get caught but drive with no seat belt on and within blocks you are pulled over and giving a ticket...Looks like they would have more things to do then pull someone over for no seatbelt while across the street they are selling drugs and nothing is done about that.

If you are lucky, and get pulled over for a minor traffic violation that results in a warning, you may have the hair raising experience of having the nice officer pull his gun and point it at you! The drug dealers are safe in Richmond, Indiana.
