Ryan Olson ChicoER.com I was wondering why so many were deleted. So many people make so many nasty, mean, inceniary comments. Thank you for deleting them. Maybe these people who complain about being cencored should put themselves in the VICTIM'S shoes!

To: What the and everyone else "Hey everyone! I think we have lost site of the situation here - You got that right - we need laws changed, and this is what the situation at hand should be! Changing the laws for stricter penalties, and holding the parents accountable. If we had stricter laws we would not be seeing crimes like this.

opns, completely agree. Consequences need to match the crime and given many prisons provide more than the perps would have on the outside, how can that be a deterrent? I wonder if one day the US will outsource, say to China, care for criminals. Right now some states are looking to the private sector to save $$$$ on care for the perps. I believe in the adage of "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of the cure." As my relative states, "you have to have a license to operate a vehicle, but any fool can have a baby." Why not provide early education on the real facts of raising a child? Might not it be a deterrent as well, knowing in advance how much work and effort it takes? And end the welfare $$$ for those who keep mass producing babies unable to care for the ones they already have or they must be subjected to sterilization otherwise. Truly disgusting to have babies you can't properly care for mentally, financially, physically, emotionally.

The perpetrators should be punished to the full extent of the law. It should be highly publicized. Our country is always trying to rehabilitate the criminal. What about stepping up the consequences of committing these crimes. If these people(animals) see others being locked up for life after getting their punis's cut off, they may think twice before doing something similar. Screw the criminals. We all know the laws and what is right and wrong. If you break them, punishment should be swift and severe. Oh yeah, it wasn't their fault, it was their upbringing. They weren't loved as a child. They didn't have a father. Let's help them rehabilitate and put them back into society. This is all bullsh*t. You can make up all the reasons you want on why people do what they do, but in the end they need to take responsibility and pay a harsh penalty.

What the_ wrote: Hey everyone! I think we have lost sight of the situation here - a young girl was GANG RAPED for no apparent reason other than she was invited by a trusted friend to come hang out after a dance. How did this become so racist and so political?? We only know of two actual hispanics who have been arrested - we can't assume they were all hispanic! Nor can you generalize this on the hispanic community or a geographical area. Horrendous crimes are committed everyday by all races in all areas of this country. This has nothing to do with hispanic culture, but of the psychology of mob mentality, lack of human compassion and lack of respect for women in general. What happened to this poor girl was disgusting, unfathomable and unforgivable! EVERYONE who was involved should feel shame for the rest of their lives and hope to god that nothing like that ever happens their daughters or sisters someday! I can only hope that the young girl will be able to get over this eventually and move forward with her life - it is valuable. Agreed!

Been doing some research and made some enquiries. That School District may be more to blame than they reveal. I learned they had a very troubled, underfunded, unsupported, yet dedicated officers of their own police force . In 2006, that District had an opportunity to invest in their own police department. They recruited a chief candiate known for fixing police departments, but did not follow through and the candidate withdrew. Later, they disbanded the department. People expressed that the District would regret this decision.

Happy Thanksgiving wrote: all three of them need to have there dick cut off. They will keep what,s coming to them when they hit the jail house. Karma is a mess. They will be lucky if the get isolated from the general population and put in the hole where they will never see the light of day. It's not a question of whether there will be payback. The question is when there will be payback. Prisoners do not like rapists and pedophiles. They are going to suffer one way of the other. No question about it-and they should!

There is only the human race on this planet along with invisible special forces representing good and evil. Once a human makes a decision. He/She has no control of the impact. The invisible special forces take over. A young girl was extended the hand of friendship. Out of repect for this so called friend she accepted. This friendship interaction should have provide a protective cover for her fit in the group. There is no blame in what she did. But the so called friend not only betrayed her. He allowed (did not help or get help) and participated in the plundering, beating, raping, and brutalizing of a human. To make matters worse, the so called friend entered a plea of not guilty. So now, he has added lying to list of his actions: betraying, plundering, beating, raping, and brutalizing and then lying about it all. For his sake he needs to add confessing to the list.

We had a gang rape like this down here in the early 1990's. They were all hispanic. I believe we executed the last one of them just this year. I feel the tax payers gave them food and shelter way too long. Once the evidence is clear, it should be a quick and speedy trial.
