Hey guys! We are excited about re-opening the bowling alley. We are hoping that it will give us something to do around town and be a fun atmosphere for everyone. As far as prices...games will most likely be $2/game, shoe rental $1 and laser bowling $8 -$10 (nothing is set in stone yet but should be pretty accurate). Hope to see you there!

i read what you said wow. and i thought if a business was open to the public that it had to have parking for people with disabilities. and it had to be accessible for people with physical disabilities if it does not have an elevator or a ramp for people with special needs then how is that fair.

thank you for the thought but im not interested in being assisted by someone who is not a doctor nurse or paramedic it would be very embarrassing to go to a place like this and have to be helped in and out and what if something bad happened and i wasnt able to get out fast and safe i think that its a shame that businesses would be allowed to operate with out being handicap accessible.
I understand but

You do have two bowling alleys to chose from. And if everybody would give it a try and it works out for the ppl running the bowling alley, maybe they can make enough money to put an elevator in. I don't quite understand why ppl in richlands complain and complain constantly about how there is nothing to do here and if someone is trying to bring something"new"to richlands they start bashing it, before even seen. If it sucks, o well. But at least try before bashing. But that's just my opinion. And I really understand "handicap" that you wouldn't wanna be assisted, I wouldn't want that neither, but I would just keep on going bowling elsewhere, where I am on level floor.

And I am NOT trying to offend you "handicap". I do understand your situation, but like I said you do have another option.

Its not really richlands ppl complaining about stuff its just the way the world works now a days. Everyone wants special treatment. This isnt directly aimed at the handicapped person who commented before but like you said if you need a ramp and they dont have one go somewhere with one I dont see the big deal. It use to be people could run places however they wanted if someone didnt like it no one is forcing them to go. But now if a place (i dont know of any but just for an example) allows smoking people bitch and moan to get it banned from there instead of just not going.

to me you sound like someone who just likes to have something to complain about. There are more than one bowling alley's around here and the one at claypool hill is wheelchair accessible. Just because you are in a wheelchair doesnt mean that everything has to be fixed just for you.

Now you all are going after the one in the wheelchair like he's a small child just complaining. That's sad. I think I've seen the guy in Richlands. If the bowling alley in Richlands opens, he's interested because he LIVES right there close to it. He was just curious about access to it since it's much closer to him than the bowling alley in Claypool Hill. And he may not be able to bowl, but he could go, have some conversation in a cool place and still have a good time without bothering anyone. Do you guys like being in the same place all the time? Be a bit respectful and not so quick to judge, please.
