You probably have a PhD.(Pathetically hopeless dimwit )
Steve probably has a PhD too.(Professional hamburger Dispenser ).
Professional Hamburger Dispenser-- Classic! Molly, you crack me up.

KXYL's "unfair and unbalanced" talking head duo of Mike Cope and James Ray Williams in a "4-foot hover" ? Who'd be surprised ?
Labbe: An editor's 'Try again' doesn't mean 'no.'
BY J.R. LABBE
jrlabbe@star-telegram.com
Conservative talking heads and e-mail chatter were ablaze Tuesday after the Drudge Report posted a piece Monday that claimed The New York Times rejected a guest column from Sen. John McCain because it did not "mirror" one published a week earlier by Sen. Barack Obama.
It’s the best thing to happen to the McCain campaign this week. He needed the boost. Obama’s tour to Afghanistan, the Middle East and Europe with major TV anchors in tow had relegated McCain to B-roll of him riding in a golf cart with Papa Bush and sitting at a Yankees game with Rudy Giuliani.
Nothing can jump-start a Republican’s campaign faster than a perceived slight by the big bad liberal media.
"Bias!" cried Republicans, who are in a 4-foot hover over the fact that the Times’ opinion page editor, David Shipley, served as a special assistant and speechwriter to President Clinton from 1995 to 1997.

Thank Heavens for J.R. Labbe of the Fort Worth Star Telegram! Without him, Steve would have no way to express an opinion on this topic, nothing to cut and paste. His witty, "What he said!" remarks would be completely ineffective without someone else's words to parrot. Steve, You must find it terribly frustrating when you find a topic you wish to propagandize or agitate over, but no one has written an article for you to appropriate yet.

Too bad Steve can't seem to cogitate an original thought or string a couple of sentences together in his own words. Perhaps I expect too much from a "Professional Hamburger Dispenser."

Hattori, my whole life is not posted on the KXYL website. Just for clarification, I attended West Texas State University on a full art scholarship when I was married to my first wife. We moved closer to our families after a couple of semesters and transferred to Tarleton State, where I changed majors and won a presidential merit scholarship in addition to working my way through school. I am a member of Alpha Chi, which is the college honor society that is only open to the top 10% of university students. I was president of Phi Alpha Theta, the history honor society. I held a 4.0 GPA until my senior year when it dropped to a 3.85. I was named in the 1991 edition of "Who's Who In American Colleges And Universities". I also attended East Texas State University for a few semesters when I was married to my second wife. I am a semester away from a Bachelor's degree in history with a double minor in art and English. I'm also a published scientific illustrator, journalist and technical writer. Those accomplishments don't list other professional and management classes I've completed in the course of a lifetime.
Despite your snobbery, I would match brain-pans with you any day, in any arena-- whatever your educational pedigree. Some of the most idiotic people I've ever met have held PhDs, and that goes for my opinion of Michael Savage.
However, the point of my comments about Michael Savage, which were obviously over your head, was that despite the fact that I disagree with his inflammatory remarks and consider him an idiot, I think the First Amendment guarantees his right to his opinion no matter how ignorant or ill-informed I think it is. If he can find advertisers who will buy spots on his show and a radio station willing to carry him, more power to him.
It’s anomalous how you being president of Phi Alpha Theta, the history honor society,
Can’t encomium the vast historical knowledge & implementation of Michael Savage’s
Historical parallels with current world affairs on his radio show. Maybe you should post all your acquirements on the KXYL Website for some prominence.
(Then you wouldn’t have to ratchet down your 30 somewhat year experience down to 3 years, or was that a typo?)
All you show is High School Diploma & I don’t have a conundrum with a High School
Diploma, after all that is what Rush Limbaugh has & his acumen is meritorious.
It might be best for you to stick to National Hot-Dog Annual Celebrations.
That way nobody can call you an idiot.

Wow, Steve! That's just about the longest post you've ever written without having to snatch big sections of text from other people's articles. Golf clap for Steve! Of course you did recycle about 80% of it from your other posts, and it is a shame that you wasted so much of your brain power on snarky nit-picking rather than trying to address any actual issues.

Ooooo! Mike couldn't tell from a set of initials whether an editorialist was a man or a woman! Yep, you really got me, Steve. I must confess less familiarity with the lefty press than you have. Then again, I don't spend nearly as much time copying and pasting their material as you do.

Perhaps we ought to take a cue for the N.Y. Times-- your response is not an appropriate rebuttal to my post. You need to mirror my original piece and refute my points one by one. Rewrite and Resubmit it and I'll consider it's merits.(Be sure to check it for spelling and grammar.)

The reinvention of the Times as a national paper has been accompanied by a steady loss of subscribers in the New York metro area.

NYT Co.'s stock is trading at about 40, down 25% from its high of 53.80 in mid-2002 and has trailed the shares of many other newspaper companies for a good year and a half.

Wow! You busted out with about half a dozen five dollar words in this post! Feeling a little intimidated? How long did you have to spend with Webster's Unabridged to come up with "anomalous" "encomium" and "conundrum," about three hours? It is good to see that the Reader's Digest "Increase Your Word Power" is working for somebody.

I won't go in to the incongruity (you can look that one up later,)of you whining about me "bashing" Mexicans or Canadians or whoever, when you are evidently a big fan of Michael Savage, graduate of the Josef Mengele School of Eugenics and the most vitriolic racist on radio.(Just ask your pal Steve.) While I would love to debate whether or not such fandom is evidence that you are schizophrenic, or merely a huge hypocrite, I'll stick to your questions about my education and experience.

You seem doubtful of my education. Unlike Steve, you don't need to file Freedom of Information request to vet my claims. I'll be happy to bring my transcripts to the office along with the certificates from the honor societies I belong to. Why don't you drop by to see them? I would love to meet you face to face. Shall I tell the receptionist to be on the look out for the blue Mighty Morphin' Power Ranger, or will you be trick-or-treating as yourself for a change?

As to my radio experience... I'm sorry to disappoint you but it was a simple typo, not some sort of conspiracy of the Illuminati, that had me listed with 38 years of experience.(I would have had to go to work at 5 years old!) Actually, three years isn't really accurate either. I've worked here for a little over three years under the Watts regime, continuing into the Tackett era. I also worked at another radio station for a couple of years in high school, so my actual radio experience is closer to five years. That however, is such a minor issue that only a moron would get hung up on it. And we all know you aren't a moron, right? I think it even says so on your deploma [sic].

Just for grins, here is a "spiffy" link:

So what will happen after the "Big One" hits in 2012? Will all the participants on here resort to scrawling their bleets, blurts, and blogs with charred sticks onto rocks and lob them at each other? Will there EVER be any progress or benefit from participating on here? It seems its obvious. NO! Better start learning how hunt for food. There won't be anyone handing sandwiches out.

Hagel: There are ways to deal with' a president who says 'I don't care'
Ron Brynaert
Published: Sunday March 25, 2007
Senator Chuck Hagel (R-NE), a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee who is considering running for president in 2008, stopped just short of threatening impeachment against President George Bush on ABC's This Week with George Stephanopoulos on Sunday morning.
Hagel has been a vocal critic of the war in Iraq and recently referenced impeachment in an interview published in April's edition of Esquire Magazine, telling Charles P. Pierce, "The president says,'I don't care.' He's not accountable anymore. He's not accountable anymore, which isn't totally true. You can impeach him, and before this is over, you might see calls for his impeachment. I don't know. It depends how this goes."
Hagel disagrees that "right now we're actually seeing the increase in forces actually start to deliver some results in Baghdad," as the White House has argued.
"No, I don't see that," Hagel told Stephanopoulos. "In fact, there are more incidents, not less. Sure, in parts of Baghdad, in overall Baghdad, over the last two or three weeks, we have seen some fewer, but not around the country. Look at what happened two days ago, one of the two vice presidents of Iraq was attacked there at his own compound and is lying mortally wounded in a hospital."
Hagel added, "No, it isn't getting any less dangerous, and the fact is that was predictable, the more American troops you flood into a zone, sure, you're going to see some immediate effect of that but that has nothing to do with the long-term or lasting effect. This solution in Iraq is not going to come by continuing to put more and more Americans in there because we're bogging ourselves down. We are further eroding our credibility and stature in the Middle East. It's going to make it more and more difficult for us to get out because we are going to have to get out."
Hagel mentioned that the Inspector General testified before Congress this week, and "reminded all of us that we have now spent almost a half a trillion dollars in Iraq," and "have put at least 40 billion in economic development there,[w]hich we don't know what we got out of it."
"There's still no oil law," Hagel added. "Billions of dollars have been ripped off, unaccounted for, and one more point on this -- over $12 billion of Iraqi money still sits in the accounts of the Iraqi government that they haven't spent. So something has to give here, George."
Hagel then expanded upon his "impeachment" comments in the Esquire interview.
"Well, any president who says 'I don't care' or 'I will not respond to what the people of this country are saying about Iraq or anything else' or 'I don't care what the Congress does, I am going to proceed,' if a president really believes that, then there are, what I was pointing out, there are ways to deal with that," Hagel said.
Hagel added, "This is not a monarchy."
Note: I'd love for the morning Wendlee Broadcasting talking heads to give Chuck Hagel 30 minutes of airtime like they did Brownwood Mafia Putter Jarvis on this mornings show. I wonder if his (Hagel) interview would be interrupted two times by emergency broadcasts as Putter's was ? Question for KXYL: How many soldiers who had boots on the ground in Iraq have you interviewed that are speaking out against the war ? None ? Why is that ? I'd thank Brownwood Talk Radio (as Putter Jarvis did) if they were better stewards of the Brownwood airwaves by having some balance with opposing guest interviews !
Neb.'s Hagel says gains in Iraq came at high cost
"Hagel said President Bush's decision last year to dispatch 30,000 more troops to Iraq has cost more than 1,000 American lives and billions of dollars."

Hey Misleading Mike, what do you think of this (see below)? Q: Who should be held responsible for failing to anticipate a flood of wounded soldiers ?

" Among other things, the Army failed to anticipate a flood of wounded soldiers. Some transition units have been overwhelmed and are thus severely understaffed. At Fort Hood, Tex., last month, staff members found 1,362 patients in a unit authorized for 649 — and more than 350 on a waiting list. Of the total, 311 were identified as being at high risk of drug overdose, suicide or other dangerous behavior. There were 38 nurse case managers when there should have been 74. Some soldiers have had to languish two months to a year before the Army decided what to do with them, far longer than the goal the Army set last year.

Under skeptical questioning during a hearing in February, Lt. Gen. Eric Schoomaker, the Army surgeon general, told the subcommittee that “for all intents and purposes, we are entirely staffed at the point we need to be staffed.” He also said:“The Army’s unwavering commitment and a key element of our warrior ethos is that we never leave a soldier behind on the battlefield — or lost in a bureaucracy.”

That was thousands of wounded, neglected soldiers ago. There are now about 12,500 soldiers assigned to the warrior transition units — more than twice as many as a year ago. The number is expected to reach 20,000 by this time next year.

The nation’s responsibility to care for the wounded from Iraq and Afghanistan will extend for decades. After Tuesday’s hearing, we are left pondering the simple questions asked at the outset by Representative Susan Davis, the California Democrat who is chairwoman of the military personnel subcommittee: Why did the Army fail to adequately staff its warrior transition units? Why did it fail to predict the surge in demand? And why did it take visits from a Congressional subcommittee to prod the Army into recognizing and promising — yet again — to fix the problem?"

Will there EVER be any progress or benefit from participating on here? It seems its obvious. NO! Better start learning how hunt for food. There won't be anyone handing sandwiches out.

"Tell the receptionist to be on the look out for the Blue Mighty Morphin' Power Ranger" That soooooo hilarious! The only thing missing is the sound of him saying "OUCH!" when he read that! (I'm stocking up on clay tablets and whittling myself a stylus so I can continue with my bleats and blurts!)

you are SO right! We could all be engaged in any number of activities infinitely more productive than this. But somehow, every time I vow to stop posting Steve, Hattori or one of their imaginary playmates posts something so stupid or so distorted that I feel I must respond to it. It's a sucker's game really. No one will ever change their opinions. They are so closed-minded and intolerant of anyone who disagrees with them and so entrenched in their own dogma that I've written them off as lost causes.

I've mainly posted responses for those who stumble in here and think that there might be a shred of truth to the lying and spinning they do here. Yet, I shouldn't worry about that. Anybody foolish enough to buy into this slanted nonsense without listening to the show for themselves or getting to know us in person, is already one of their "true believers" and nothing we say will open their closed minds a crack.
