Police called to near riot at teen nightclub, The Volt

Okey i was in the club when this experance started.
An i know for a fact that it wasn't a riot. But a normal fight that would happen in kalmazoo or anywere else. THE OWNERS WERE WARNED MORE THAN ONCE THAT IT WOULD HAPPEN. Do to every week accidents at the club "fights in the parking lot" they decided to play only country and rock. WHICH YOU CANNOT DO- IF YOUR CLUB IS A DANCE CLUB- for the younger people which it was. An you know about 75% of the people there were driving from the southside of kalmazoo and far as schoolcraft away. An when they got there and paid to get in "with no refunds" and heard country and rock was to play for the rest of the night ITS GOING TO UPSET EVERYONE. SO YES THINGS GOT OUT OF CONTROL. Due to the owners own fault!!!!!!

An they didn't put that in the reports!!!

Wow... the owners are playing country and rock... lets beat eachother up to prove a point!!!
If you don't like the music... leave!! There are plenty of other places to go and cover is only a few bucks!!

LOL, thats funny ive been to the volt several times and ive never heard country or rock the way you describe and the fight broke out due to a dispute against 2 people and the owners were working on a better solution to take care of matters like that. Now they have more bouncers to take care of things like this and they also have a system in place to do this too. They are back open for business this weekend and are going to stay open another thing you need to realize this is a teen club not a adult club. I had nothing to do with the owners. With what you are saying right there that means that the huge riot in Boston was the owners fault that owns the Boston red sox. Really thing about what you are saying. Some one playing a specific type of music caused a fight really kid get a life. Because you cant be over 18 if you were there.

maybe it ws the rampant drug problem that drove the owners to, just play country. Maybe booty tempo dance music is on the way out anyway.
If the youth of America in our local area need a place to gather, perhapos the need the shock of cross cultural dance parties like the volt gave them when they turned the dance floor into a real hoe down.

here is a fine example of a customer trying to run a club by using scare tatics,if you dont do want we want we will destroy your club . the owners did what the should have done and that was take back control of there club, and run it the way the want. never let your employees run your club,never let your customers run your club its your club!!!!! thug clubs are on the way out many club owners have woke up and you will see alot more party dance/country/rock clubs pop up to steer away from the hiphop detruction and thug mentality.

hey dumbass i have been there before and its from 8-1am and there AINT SHIT to do that late at night and even if there was ppl wanted to go there to danceeeeee thats obviously what they wanted to do and not some other boring ass shit. so stop being a dumbass and ppl were fighting because it was too packed and they were bumpin into eachother. and that is a dumb thing for the owner to do is just play country and rock. you really cant dance to that shit and thats what they payed for is a place to dance. not just hangout. and by the way the owener is a dick head i know him personally.!!!!
