being attacked at the mall???????????

Hello, I am writing to tell everyone something that happened to me on April 20th this year and i am wondering what to do. I was at Ceder Mall in Rice Lake Wi, and i was walking out with my boyfriend and my son who is 7 months old. My boyfriend was going and putting our son into the car and i was putting the diaper bag into the back seat also. There was a lady that was in a car with two other girls this girl i had problems with in high school. This girl shoved me in school waited for me when i would walk home etc. I didn't think anything of the situation until a under age girl(not the one i had problems with in high school) got out of the car and came behind me and pulled my hair where it was falling out and pulled my shirt over my head and shoved me on the ground and punched me in the face several times and bashed my head into the ground. I do not even know this girl. I have never seen her before. Well i yelled for my boyfriend and he came running towards me. He didn't even get to me and the girl was running and got in the backseat of the car she was in and started yelling GO! GO! I got up and she was in the car almost gone. My boyfriend copied the license plate number and we called the police right away in the parking lot. The police had came, and told me to go to the hospital after i filled out statements(me and my boyfriend both) I was told this was going to go to trial by the police department. I went to the hospital they told me i was going to be OK, and if i started seeing things blurry to come in. Now it is the 29th of April and i still have a black eye. I was also told by many people this girl has had over 10 under age drinking tickets and has had so many disorderly conducts that it is sad. So i am wondering what you all think do i go and get a personal injury lawyer or not. Can i sue the parents of this 16 year old girl or her parents for the injury that she caused me?

I have walked around for over a week having people give me dirty looks and my boyfriend gets the most. People are thinking that he might have hit me. Does anyone understand what that does to a person???

talk to a lawyer first, they'll tell you what you can and can not do. i would also see if you can charge the other two girls as "accessories". you may want to look into restraining orders. hope you feel better soon.

I agree this girl needs to be taught a lesson and her parent need to know what kind of things this girl is up to when she isn't at home. I would get her for all you can and teach her a lesson.

I had issues like that in Rice Lake. Too many pathetic people living there. If you have an issue with someone, someone you do not even know will threaten and attempt to harm you based on a friendship with your problem person. It is very weird but you should not let it go. I would call a lawyer, judicare if you have no money. YOu are helping this young woman hopefully straiten up and get her act together if she faces up to how foolish she is acting.

Well that is your opinion but i can still try and since she has been in trouble before i think that something will be done. It also will look bad that i had my son with me, he is only a baby.

If I were you I would see what you can do to press charges. If the dirtball parents won't do anything about their unruly kids the legal system will have to start handling these problems too.

i have not received any court papers from anyone i called the victim coordinator and left a message no one will call me back.

They are so screwed in the head in barron county its sick,I got wrongfully accused of a crime,3 years ago, Inwhich they finally after 3 yrs called it a mistake in charging,because someone finally told the truth...I almost went to prison for something i knew nothing about,I wasent even questioned by any officals just charged with 3 felonies by mail box..
One public defender played me by giving statements to the D.A. whithin 30 days and then dopping me for no reason,when i asked him..
and another public defender told me right out to plea bargain,theres alot of inoccent people in prison these days..there plea bargain crap up there is so corrupt,judgement day is going to be a b itch for them people!!!
I finally had to pay for a dumb real attorney that did nothing for me,thank god the kid finally admitted to just picking my name from a hat...
cost me 3500.00 in attorney fee's,i had to take the kid to small claims court because the barron county victim coordinator said i couldnt get restitution,why? everyone else did that had things stolen from them..
then the judge says to me in a letter that i can,t get restitution from a small claims judgement.
That isn't even close to the good part, The kid that accussed me of taking what was stolen,whom i did not even know what so ever, The charges got dismissed on him,for what i was in so much trouble for...Is that sick or what!!!!

thanks i called the victim cordnator at the court house and come to find out the DA said they could not find enough evidance to procicute anyone ha ha not funny. there were pictures and a hospital report not to mention another statement from my fiance. i am sitting here pissed. i had my child with me what kind of person attackes someone when they have a baby with them not to mention i did not even know this girl. well now i do not care i keep a knife on me at all times when i go out. i talked to one of the police officers that is the best one i could have ever met. every time i see him we end up talking for hours. he said that there was a person that he pulled over that had meth and the DA would not do anything " there was not enough evidence" he also told me he got a call and went to it and i guess some guy pulled a knife out on someone and the DA said the same thing. i hate barron county what the hell is this county turning into? seriously? well when i get enough money and things figured out i am out of here i am not raising my child here. NO WAY!

Hey nikkie, I believe you. I lived in that town for years. My guess from the problems I had, they cant pursue everything, or half the county would be locked up. Barron county welcomes parolees, losers, alcholics and wastes of space. The police and the DA can only deal with the worst of the lot. Good for you, get your child out and dont look back. Your police officer friend, I am sure talks to you for hours because you share his frustration. The law only works for those who respect it. You are on the losing side with most of the animals in Barron county

it is just bull shit i mean if i knew i could get away with hitting someone it would be her. for Christ sake i had my child with me. think about it if my child was a little bit older and saw this shit he would be very disturbed this girl that did this does not have any respect for herself. i was born and raised part of my life in detroit and NO one would be safe if they did that there. someone would get very angry and kick some ass just for pulling that shit when you have your child with you. the thing is some of my family live in this area and i do not want to raise my child in the city
