I am director of marketing for AuctionAmericaRelaty.com . A few days ago, we were
contracted to sell via public auction to the highest bidder the 112 acre site on Morton Rd. It is my job to market the property and find a buyer. Obviously, Rhinebeck is a beautiful place and this abandoned school, for lack of a stronger word; is an eyesore to the community. I need your help as to who you would like me to market this to. I understand it is five acre residential zoning but in this economy what builder in their right mind is going to start such a project? I also read a senior complex was rejected in the past. So, I ask the town for its suggestions: What would you like to see there? I am all ears. . |

Keep it the way it is. It's a great place for kids to go to and hang out.

I don't find it an eyesore at all.. I think abandoned places like that are extremely interesting, I can't be the only one
