this is just great. now i have a real reason to burn down my house and move into an apartment. why would anyone want to live in a place that taxes people so their idiot children can play football. im not paying this tax, maybe i can quit my job too then you people can support me like all of us homeowners have been supporting your kids. its just not fair. i own a home and have no kids and will never have em, but i have to pay for some idiots 15 bastard children because they live in a low income appartment and pay no tax.

I've weathered the Grovetucky jokes, put up with more white trash neighbors than the State of Tennessee possesses, and watched a beautiful small community become a big metropolis-wannabe with cheap, cookie cutter designs.

This is enough! Having to pay an extra $30.00 to $40.00 a month tax because the school board possesses an executive collection of moronic idiots who haven't a clue on how to plan and implement good decisions regarding our money and resources is the straw that breaks the camel's back.

Not my money, folks. I'm leaving and finding a better grade of life with a better grade of people.

BAD news. If you work, pay taxes and live in an apartment, YOU still have to pay the property tax same as a homeowner. It's just figured into your monthly rent charge. You didn't really think the building owner payed the property tax from his own pocket, out of the goodness of his heart did you?( I always chuckle when I see signs infront of apartments that say "FREE water & heat! RRRIIIIIIGHT.)

P/S. But you are right. Section 8 voucher people pay next to nothing, while the working people right next door pay FULL rent price AND are taxed to support the section 8 people on the other side of the wall.

I live in Grove City, but am Columbus schools. So the 2 local papers I get always have the levy stuff in them. I'm SOOOOO happy this is over. I'm tired of the pages of 'letters to the editor' every week saying the same thing, over and over. I felt bad for the kids who had opportunities taken from them but also for homeowners who can't afford the extra money. One BIG reason our school funding system is out of whack!

Good, then leave .. Sell your house. Who needs you. Obviously anyone who takes the word of an unemployed zealot (Terry Jones) whose 15 minutes is thankfully up over personal fact-finding should get the hell out of town.

GC is now a nice place to live again, insofar as our property values are maintained and white trash puke hounds - such as yourself - will retire to the confines of Pickaway County or - better yet - Kentucky.

Daily Horoscope for December 21

Libra

You've been quite a gadabout in recent weeks, but as the Sun enters Capricorn at the Solstice, you start to yearn for the comforts of home. You might even be tempted to cancel some forthcoming social events, so you can flop on your sofa and catch your breath. Sentimental thoughts could steal over you in coming weeks, making you think about some of the people you used to know and love.
