Great article! this comes from a company called Kut Kwick, Corp. They have been around forever and know this business VERY well.

The Kut Kwick Brushmaster mower is designed to fight forest fires. The machine reduces all undergrowth to small cuttings that lie flat on the ground. The material on the ground cannot blaze because it is deprived of oxygen. Wind permitting, there will be a low burn, burn out or smolder across most mowed areas at a very slow rate that will allow fire fighters to extinguish anything that remains with a tamp.
