student beaten up at job corps

dayton,ohio job corps center is so dirty , and the center director is an butt hole , he is racist and he thanks he is god

the school is nasty and the food always taste like leftovers. SIAtech teachers always bring personal problems to th ework place and affect our learning. Students have sex behind the building all the time. and the dances are too short.

Job Corps is known to be a dirty, violent place. It's always had that reputation.

Like isnt that what they all think I am currently attending Lyndon b Johnson and it is ruff going on 7 monts

I use to live in the area where Job Corps is, my mother also worked there for several years. It has always had a bad reputation for beatings, theft and for people having sex in open areas near the center. In fact Im sure you could still see condoms out in the open in the park nearby like we always did when we were kids. There are also alot of businesses around that used to clearly post signs "NO Job Corps students allowed". I always wondered "well how the heck would they know if you were a student or not, its not like you have a sign around your neck". My mother didn't like us to visit her there and also wasn't really fond of us hanging out with job corps students unless she knew them well. Even with all this, Ive heard many stories of people who have used the program and became successful when they stuck to it. Unfortunately its a center for alot of troubled people (not all) who are trying to get a life. There is a problem of people not reporting things that do happen on campus (unfortunately if it happens off campus Job Corps really doesnt want to know about it). But for all of you trying to better your life stick with it, it does help alot of people get started, and if something does happen, report it. Keep reporting it if you have to, to get someone to listen and do something. I know there have been students kicked out of the program for beatings, etc. so it does happen. If you don't, then you become like everyone else....tolerant of the crap.

yes i am an ex job corp student from the GOLCONDA center. and they use to brive us to lie on those survays that they had to send in. And as far as the beatens go yes i have seen my fair share.one of which was my friend, he wouldn't give up his lap top so they beat him and left him for dead behind eldorodeo dorm.when they found him his ear was severed from his head,his face was badly brused and swollen, and he was unconcious.hes okay now but it still should not had happened. that put the entire hill on lockdown.

yea i got hit in the back of the head w/ a brick for wearing red chuck taylors... i guess there's nothing more dangerous than wanna be gangsters... oh i saw three different people get jumped for supposedly breaking n2 a dorm during trade... the same group of people jumped 3 tall skinny spike haired kids b/c that's who people saw jump out the window... no one got arested 4 it though b/c gary job crops doesnt give a fcuk about there students, and they bribed us on those surveys 2 lol

I use to attend job corps in dayton 2005-2006...job corps might not be what u call home...but it is a place to help you get on your feet....its not what it looks like..its what u make of it...I learned the hard way...hanging out with the wrong group of friends....I got in a fight. And everything that I was so close to accomplishing.... was gone...it wasn't dayton job corps fought it was mine...I made the wrong choice.....I can't do nothing but move forward in life, like i'm already doing. ..so if u you decide to go there dayton is the best choice b/c I didn't only have friends, I had a family away from my original home....and i wish i can go back sometimes just for that great memory.... If I Could turn back the hands of time i would not have fought and i would probably be a state tested nursing assistant..thanks to Mrs. Austin....i will never forget you...u were a very tough,but a damn good teacher....luv ya can't wait to visit again..maybe i can mentor to the troubled students there.

Yeah I'm also a graduate of Job Corp, coming from Clearfield Job Corp Center in utah. The stuff there was pretty..Violent, people getting terminated for doing the stupidest shit. We even had a rape or two during my two year stay down there...

Though thats the problem with Job Corp the people, if you stick to the program you can get alot out of it, but the fucks mess it up for everyone.

I use to attend dayton job corp but i did not go back but my friend that live in dayton and she go there and she saw the center director buying crack.

I completely disagree with you...although this might be an opinion, and opinion isn't a statement to portray discrimination against anybody according to thier sexual orientation...How would you like it if someone said, "Job Corps is full of STRAIGHTS dont sent ur children there." that isnt fair to alot of people dont fill people's heads with all that bull***

and they beat up mentaly ratardted kids with stud wrist bands and tape it and blue tooth it to everyone so staff can see it's the happiest place on earth its so funn we cant even go to the beach across the road and to go to buy something u gotta drive 80 miles away come to angell job corps have a great day!
