1 Sick ... totally sick to launch defamatory crap like that, and it shows the ilk of Livermore and his supporters. |

I am glad I stumbled on this site.
I don't appreciate being tied into a blog. Mike and I know each other and we have agreed to run a clean campaign. I cannot control other peoples actions. And truly, I haven't seen what the blog says, but judging from Bill's response. I believe I won't approve of it either. I stand by my career and and beliefs. Please check out my website at www.friendsofroland.com . I grew up in Butler, played Butler football and lefted for a full time job in Pittsburgh. My wife and I decided to bring our family back to Butler to raise our three children and throw my hat into the ring for Sheriff. I believe with my ethics, family values and leadership, I will be the best man for the job. As for throwning people out of their house. The sheriff must act upon a court order to execute an eviction. I hope the Sheriff's Office can keep everybody in their domain and not see anybody living on the streets. Butler County residents work hard for their families and at the their jobs. It is very difficult in a home when they are not prepared for a laid-off and it happens. I will do whatever (within the law) I can to keep someone in their home. Thank you for hearing me out! Sincerely, Roland Livermore Candidate for Butler County Sheriff |

I've known Mike for decades. He is the best choice.
Period. He's done more for this community than Livermore ever will or could. |

Convince me. |

1 training. He is very professional and is very knowedgable. He will serve Butler County to the degree that this County needs. Considering how heroin is infiltrating our beautiful rural county, he is the man we need. He has been trained to deal with the heroin trade and gangs, and believe it or not---there are gangs in Butler! He has the skills that we are going to need in a sheriff as time goes on! |

Mr. Slupe I know you will probably read this, if you are really concerned about Butler County as you say you are, then take down your political sign on Duffy road and 356 because it is a real traffic hazzard. It block your vision if you want to make a right off Duffy road onto 356.

believe in you!!

I agree with 'concerned citizen'- Mr. Slupe's sign does present a hazardous condition at that intersection. Who will be liable when this causes an accident?
In fact, for someone who wants to be the top lawman, he does not set a very good example of abiding by the law. I have seen a half dozen of his signs that exceed the size limit ordinances. Either he believes he is above the law, the law doesn't apply to him, or that his 'good old boys' network of supervisors will look the other way. |

I was Actually at the Meet The Candidate night in Cranberry Twp and Livermore won without trying. He simply spoke from his heart and was very relaxed and confident about what he had to say about the issues. On the other hand, Mr. Slupe was tense, would not make eye contact with the audience. Tells me that he either has something to hide or was not being truthful with us.

I would like to express my gratitude for all the people who showed up in my corner for the Meet the candidate night in Cranberry.
I have posted several Youtube videos (Including the candidate night Part I and II). You can view them by typing in my name, if you are still pondering on who you should cast your vote for. Big Thank you goes out to Butlerite. He has been thinking very hard about his vote. I am just glad he decided to vote for me. And I would like to thank the rest of the bloggers for the kind words and wishes. See you at the polls!!! |

I think you are a very smart person Mr. Butlerite. How can a group endorce someone when they only talked to him on the phone and Mr. Livermore took the time to go to their meeting to meet them all in person. The ad that Mr. Slupe put in the paper about the endorcement is false--it was not a unanimous decision to back him, there were several that chose to back Mr. Livermore, even wanting literature and signs.

Mr. Livermore communicates much more effectively. Slupes answers seem to be general and generic.
