Dr. David Evanko, of Butler, is accused of sexually assaulting two boy scouts.

It's not a witch hunt...would you go forward and admit something like this happened to you if it didn't? No, you wouldn't and neither would I...and neither did they --- nobody would do that unless it truly happened.

A good man...a lot of people thought John Wayne Gacy was "a good man" --- also, Ted Bundy was often referred by others as "a good man." They both were active in their respective communities, they both had many friends and acquaintances, and they both hid their demons well. Everyone that knew them before their subsequent arrests would state without any hesitation that each was "a good man" but, as it turned out, each was merely a facade that came crumbling down.

I agree with you. What society is able to do to a human being through the law, is awful. I hope that this Doctor is getting through this alright. He spent his entire life caring for others and this is his payment. This man was doing his job and these boys jumped on the band wagon. I hope this whole nightmare is resolved for the Doctor. What an evil bunch of people. Most definitely a witch hunt!!!!!

I think what is important is to look at the facts of the case-don't just judge someone on what is writtian in the paper, wait until the whole story comes out. do you know this man, his friends his family? What more do you know then what the bias press has writtian? You sound like a passionate person, so i hoping you search for the truth. Have you researched the treatment of genital warts yet? I had a smart father who wouldn't let me join the Boy Scouts or be an alter boy.. He also would let my sister be a cheerleader or be in any marching bands...

We were the lucky ones, we had parents who spent time with there children instead of dumping them off..

He's been charged with multiple felonies and misdemeanors. By the Attorney General of PA. He placed himself doing intimate exams on children through CYS, Summit Academy, Moniteau, and in his practice. He locked doors to exam rooms and didn't have anybody else in the room. He spent hundreds of hours alone with Boy Scouts. There are other witnesses who may or may not be allowed to testify. Some of the accusations are from 20 years ago. Some are from this year. Yep, it's a grand conspiracy and all of these kids are lying. And the AG is too stupid to realize that these low life kids just want money. Oh wait, these are criminal charges...they get no money. Guess they're all bad and he is the only good one in this. Everyone knows that teenage boys want to admit publicly that a grown man sexually abused them. Get a clue.

Once sentenced and incarcerated, why let them out. It's not like they were on drugs or booze and can be rehabilitated. Oh that's right, they don't steal from stores...

I have work with this Doctor in the pass. Also been a patient of his since I was 3. For number one, there are no locks on the exam rooms doors. The treatment for genital warts can take awhile to perform. None of the kids he had to perform these treatment on never came out the exam rooms acting all weird out. If someone just got done touching me I would be freaking out and running out of the room. But serious he actually only wanted to perform complete physicals on male patients and refer the females one to the PA Donald. But yet I believe he is a good man. Then how u refer to the summitts kids being in trouble and that the only reason y they r coming forward. No I met a lot of these kids working there at BMA, a lot of r trying to make their lives better, remember they trusted this MD too. If these acts of violence were actually committed then he violated them. They didn't asked to be touch unprofessional. This can go either way. U just need to look at all the facts by knowing him and the kids. I have known girls that been raped and waited to turn the perp in. But no1 questions them or unless there no proof. Actually we were not permitted in the room when he does his Tx for the genitals warts, the only time a nurse was permitted to be in the room if he is doing a PAP or a breast exam on a female pt. Thn also some of the biopsy we were permitted in the room. There is a male CNA that could have went into the room with Dr. E for the tx of genial warts, but he chose not to cover himself by having this CNA come into the room. The treatment the MD does is involving chemicals not cream. He uses a Q-tip to aplly this. The only reason I know this is cuz I prep the room 4 him to go in.

i have Dr evanko for close thirty years and i know he is innocent all this is just a modern day witch hunt. and when this all over and he is proven innocent i hope he sues all involved for everything they own. Dr evanko is a very dedicated professional.

I agree. I doubt if any human being would get remotely excited over genital warts. These guys jumped on the band wagon. But the number one belief, He is not guilty of the crime.

He's guilty, you just don't want to believe it --- just like Ben Roethlisberger is guilty of sexual assault but nobody wants to believe that either...why are we so hesitant to pass judgment upon those we admire even though their guilt is blatantly obvious? Just because you like someone and admire and respect them doesn't mean that they're not capable of committing a crime

What information do you have that makes him guilty? who are you to say he's guilty??? Why are you so eager to pass judgement???
