Easiest website I have found to explain some info on taxes and disability. Again, taxes not my forte.

I don't know your finacial situation nor am I inquiring, but I would recommend you contact the IRS if you have additional questions.
I'm under the threshold. So in my case no taxes. Those getting a few thousand more than me have to pay taxes. They mentioned that on the link. Also I previously asked social security.I would like to mention that I paid most of my taxes into the postal retirement system.But...there was a nasty altercation with a postal supervisor...VERY nasty...at least for him.....and there you have it.They locked me out of my 3200.00 retirement.(per month). That I had paid into.Easy come..easy go!

Ok. Let me try again. Zero income = zero income tax because ANY percentage of zero is still zero. So if 45% of the population earns zero income, why is it so baffling to republicans that 45% pay no taxes?
Sign up for an adult basic education class. You too can learn about percentages. It just isn't that complicated.

Disabled still have to pay taxes. Regardless of their ailments, they have to claim it. Parents claim childrens of their taxes. And why would anyone truly go 99 weeks on unemployment? That in itself is grossly irresponsible as an adult, let alone, a parenting. You have to claim unemployment as a means of income. You have to pay taxes on retirement plans. Mitt filed all returns as required by law and we have to take his word on it. I mean, we have to take your word that you yourself filed your taxes and are not in delinquent status or garnished wages. I can not talk intelligently on those incarcerated, never had to cross that bridge, but would be interesting to know from a credible source.
IF you have a beef with the Tax Code, take it up with the IRS.

Thanks for the compliment from one so insightful who has absolutely no knowledge about me or my history. By the way, my agenda is the US Constitution. What would be yours?
My insight into your character comes from own posts on this forum (hundreds of them ). You say your agenda is th U.S. Constitution. That suggests to me that you have a severe problem with reading comprehension. The general purpose of the Constitution is to protect the citizens against a government that intrudes into their lives beyond what is necessary to produce a stable society. Your positions seem to favor government involvement as part of the solution to every problem both real and imagined. My agenda is the U.S. Constitution as it was intended to be implemented not your perverted interpretation of it.

So is that why government intrudes into the lives of homosexuals from having all rights equal to heterosexuals repressed, and is that why voting is being suppressed in over 30 states with Voter ID laws where no voter irregularities have been observed? Are those measueres designed to protect the citizen from government interference in thier lives?

<quoted text>
No one person can be a stupid as you. Many of the 45% find money to buy cigarettes, alcohol, and drugs but cannot pay taxes. Everybody I know who recieves food stamps, disability etc. has money for cigarettes and/or alcohol and/or illegal drugs. My favorite couple getting assistance are both chain smokers, They both gamble, He has turned down work because it did not pay enough, They get free dental and medical, She is hooked on prescription drugs, They have three minor children who all get medicaid. They get assistance with their mortgage. She deals cards in an illegal poker game and gets an average of $200 per night. This is the worst example that I have personal knowledge of but I know of half a dozen other cases where the system is being abused. One of the others takes her drug dealer to the grocery store and uses her SNAP card to buy his groceries in return for drugs. All of these people vote Democrat if they vote at all.

No, we do not have to take his word on it. We can simply vote against him to show we do not have to take his word. See how this works? Mitt will pay a political price for his secrecy.

We do not have to take it up with the IRS we will take it up with our elected officials. They make the rules. And Mitt will hear this message loud and clear when he loses.

Gay marriage is not an equal opportunity. Having gay marriage recognized like traditional marriage, where marriage is the outcome.
Their opportunity was to be gay. Poor choice of lifestyle.
Food stamps and welfare give the outcome of survival. They are also afforded that same opportunity by looking for a job.
It is like college Mike. Higher education is not a right, but a privledge. Federal law mandates you have to come off unemployment if you go to college. Why? Because of what I just said, it is a privledge and the way the IRS views it, if you are able to go to school; i.e. paying tutition, books, etc...etc..etc... then you can pay your taxes.
Have beef with the tax code, then take it up with the IRS. Their address can be found on this link...

I am going to break my self-imposed rule about arguing with fools and respond to your assertions. Everyone has the same right to marriage. The argument really is about changing the deinition of marriage so that homosexuals can get the financial benefits of marriage. The whole purpose of voter FRAUD is to keep it secret. I have worked the polls for many years. There have been many cases where I had a strong suspicion that a particular voter maay not have been legitimate but was powerless to challenge them to make sure of their status. There was a case of voter fraud that occurred where there were more votes than there were voters. It was an inside job in a black precinct in Rock Hill and all the poll workers were black. The guilty party was never found and none of the poll workers would rat out the guilty party. The elections board tried to keep it quiet but all the poll workers in that precinct were fired.

I did report the abuse and was greeted by Social Services with an attitude that made me think they really did not want to hear about it. They questioned me about what this persons social security no. was and what their exact address was. and took the attitude that I was not giving them enough information. In short, THEY COULD NOT CARE LESS.

Yes, another insignificant isolated case that will keep thousands from voting in 2012. Not buying it. Republican ploy in Republican controlled states is due to the paranoia that Obama was elected only due to voter fraud, which is a Fox News, RNC myth. I have asked this question of others, but apparently not to you. When you recite the Pledge of Allegience, is your final statement "Liberty and justice for SOME", or is it "Liberty and justice for ALL?". Isn't denying one group of people the same right to marry fall under the "Liberty and Justice for Some" category? I would like a direct answer. Conservatives such as yourself like to duck this one by creating a separate issue. See if you can break thier record. Let's see what you are made of in the area of fairness and equality and a true application of the constitution. Thanks Robert.

I have heard this argument before. This is BS. My next door neighbor is the head of DSS in my county. She says that every incident of fraud is completely investigated and several here have been denied benefits based on the results of the investigation. I take her word over yours. Nice try though.

Ok, again. IF you receive entitlements, like unemployment, certain disabilities installments, all retirements etc etc etc, you have to declare as income otherwise you are defrauding the Federal government.

You allege those 45% have zero income. I have linked resources to prove otherwise.

Perhaps if those incentives you rant about were in place for Republican investors to make investments to create companies that provide jobs, then you could have a better job that could put you into the next tax bracket.

Don't like the tax code, take it up with the IRS.
