For this to have happen, the adults must have been asleep at the front of the bus. There is no excuse for this, teenagers should be highly monitored especially while on field trips. Sex on the bus and nobody knows, bull----!! Where is the responsibility?

Ummm "it began when other track team members told district bus drivers what happened ..." Why bus drivers? They couldn't say anything to the chaperones while it was happening? The other students are just as much at fault for watching. Seems to be more to this story than what WLTX has reported.

You would need a chaperone on every row of seats to prevent this.

First time I made it to second base, was on the bus ride home from school, broad day light, when I was in middle school....

First time I fingered a girl, same bus, same time, same scenario.

First time I got a hand job, same bus same girl, same scenario.

All in broad daylight.

The other kids on the bus didn't even know, so how in the world could anyone else?

Later other experiences on various buses, from normal daily bus rides to lat night field trips.

To think other wise would be naive, irresponsible and ignorant on our parts as adults.

Now that I have a middle school daughter, it frankly scares the shit out of me.

It's not just bus rides, there is 1000's of places to sneak off at school and very easy to do. On the field trip it's self, it is very easy to slip off through the crowd unnoticed, slip way to find some place private. May even be back to the bus when nobody is on it.....

I know how it was when I was in school 15 years ago, and I'm sure it hasn't calmed down any.

Well, it's easy to say that the boys should have been separated from the girls and the chaperones should have been seated between them AFTER the fact. Hindsight is always 20/20.

But really, who'd expect such a thing to happen? And unless the chaperones were constantly patrolling it's EASY to see how the kids could get away with messing around unnoticed.

This is nothing new. Sex on school buses has been going on ever since there were school buses. I was in the high school marching band in the late 70s and we actually had a sign up sheet for couples to reserve the last two rows of seats on each bus we had. The sign up sheet was only known about by us students. The Band teachers and chaperones were unaware of it. Again, this was in the late 70s. Nothing new here.
