Proctor Cemetery Hersey Twp.

Does anyone know where the family went that owned this cemetery. Its my understanding Charlie Proctor owned the farm near this cemetery and gave it to his grandson Harry. Harry lost it in a divorce with a Thema Proctor.
Someone recently deeded it to the township.
Please respond if you have any information on the Proctors.

Try checking with the area libraries. I know the Evart Public Library has quite an extensive family history section. I don't know their email, but should be easily found. Evart is only about 8-10 miles from Evart and there was a lot of connection in past time between the two towns. Hope that helps. Other places to try are the Reed City Library and The Old Rugged Cross Museum in Reed City.

it was a typo. Read past it. If ur not smart enough to fill it in yourself it was supposed to say Hersey.
