the ad was specifically on a page that had to do with prevention of sexually transmitted disease. Let's face it, kids are becoming sexually active at younger ages, and the earlier they start, and the more partners they have, the greater the risk of the spread of disease.
It is important that they not be ignorant of the risks of sexual activity and know how to properly protect themselves, regardless of their sexual orientation.
This is important information, particularly with some parents stressing abstinence only education, which has proven frightfully ineffective, and it really doesn't matter who disseminates the information, so long as it accurately describes the risks and the steps that may be taken to prevent disease transmission.
All of which is utterly irrelevant to the topic at hand, not that you would notice or care.
