Tongan Royal Family Members Killed In Car Crash

This so sucks.... this teen should realize that she killed members of the royal family; she should get what punishment she deserved....
Wars can be fought over this incident...

I Think it is a very devasting tragedy that has fell amongst our Tongan people. Prince Tu'ipelehake and His Lovely wife Princess Kaimana were both loving and understanding people. They did everything in their power to help the Tongan people. They stood and fought for democracy. They both will be missed very much. Their memories and legacy will live on forever in the Tongan communities world wide. They were both of royalty with the heart and soul of a commoner. He truly was the "people's Prince."
As for the woman charged, I hope she understands what her irresponsible actions has caused. I hope and pray she will learn from her negligence for she has taken the lives of 2 very important people from Tongan Royal family.
I have read in the article that "Delgado" pleaded not guilty to the charges brought up against her. I only pray that she gets what she deserves.
My condolences go out to the Royal family of my island kingdom Tonga.
I also would like to let them know they are in my prayers as well as for the Delgado family.
May we all learn from this terrible tragedy that has happened.

I am sad of what had happened. This Royal family has to pay their ultimate price of others recklessness. Even I am from Malaysia I am touched of reading the news. The prince and her wife are loved not only by their people but I beleive others too. The tragedy wounds all Tongans and beyond.

I think the teenager should be punished for what she did.
if she's even remorseful for what she did, she should have pleaded guilty and asked for a lighter sentence. her lawyer said she's a honor roll student, blah blah blah, so what? that doesn't buy her a free 80-100mph free ride out of the jail.

Let the first person who never sped in their car be the first one to throw stones at this young girl. We were all young once and made plenty of mistakes but we were fortunate enough that our mistakes never ended in tragedy. Think about that.

This young lady knew she was speeding, she was smart enough to get a drivers license and go through the education involved
it doesn't matter the status of the people in the accident, bottom line is she killed. Shame on her attorney for his stupid comments. she should face the death penalty and hopefully this will send a message to all who drive recklessly and to parents who do not educate their children on responsibility. By the way driving is not a right it is a priveledge.

i agree with every one,edith was a good friend of mine in 7th graid that was like 7 years ago but i think that she should of just pled guilty and took her charges now it will be a longer process,but i also think honer roll or not what the hell ever she should get the same punishment as n e other would,i am sorry to all the tongans that lost their prince and princess and sorry to the Delgado family for haveing to deal with the stress,i will be praying for you all,R.I.P to the prince and princess,god bless

I could'nt believe when I read what the consul that the tongan they forgive ms Delgado. aready, I understand don't me wrong, their bodies are still here,for what I say the world will say that's good we can do anything to any tongan, no matter what, dead or alive, they will forgive us,I think the tongan consul should bag your bags, and hit the road back to tonga, it's enough talking, we do have laws in this country, and we are going to live on it, thats our lord job to judge not you consul,after the judge in this earth.

she's 18 of age, and than she's know better, when she stepprd her foot on the gas, and than when she see the road is busy, and than she slow down her self, but she did'nt, and than happen, she rush and run, and than she hit those people that they mind there own business, and than she said not guilty, don't get me wrong, 3 people dead,from her racing, common, give me a break, 8 years,maybe 2 years who knows,money talks, and she will be out, and race again, and kills 10 more people,and same things again,for what we wish, to end now with her, so the next, not gonna be happen again, to anybody, we are talking about (life) our live's, not toys,

This is a very sad news, it always upsets me when I hear devistating news like this because hear you are trying to be the most careful driver as you can possibly be and yet some ding bat comes speeding out of no where, who knows what ever he hek this person is trying to prove and cause a disaster that not only involves the person at fault but innocent lives that happends to be at the wrong place and at the wrong time. I know the amount of time she'll serve is not enough and it will never be enough for what she's done but for every second, minutes and hours she serves in that cold walls(of hell), her guiltrip(re-live the moment of the accident) will eat her up alive again and again and that alone is a torture that she will have to live with for the rest of her life, they say tongans are very caring and forgiving people, but in cases like this how forgiving can you possibly be?

I agree with the high bail. Her actions have killed three people. I only hope that the Judge set the high bail because she deserve it and not just because she killed members of a Royal Family.

I think this is a rude awakening for the girl involved in this tragic incident , an all other teens out there racing cars take note. Doing dohnuts in the middle of intersection ,car racing and car side shows are dangerous to innocent bystanders.To those who do these type of things with their flipped 5.0 mustangs or whatever type cars, it is not cool ! Tell your friends this could of been you, I , any of our loved ones. This girls life is over ! Its a nightmare she will never wake up from and all for what? Who was the fasted in an automobile. I don't think this was worth it !
