All-American Muslim TV show presents misleading picture of Muslims in the U.S.

Also, there is nothing wrong with being a devout muslim who adheres strictly to the rules of islam. The people out here screamning for every non muslim head and strapping tnt onto their children are extremists....a very small part of Islam.

I read about the show on the learning channel. It will be interesting to see what it is actually about. The women shown are wearing hijab-not sure how much they are going to clubs-one is pregnant. . .I live in a country filled with Muslims and I personally do not know a lot of American ones-my friends husband, me and a couple of ladies I have said salaam to while at the embassy. . . I fully expect that my experience in the US would be very different than it is here in Qatar.

The show apparently has a lot of discussion about the hijab and how Allah will bless you if you wear it. What a bore.

The muslims ignore their violent elements and they want you to ignore them too.

This show is set in Dearborn. I can't wait to see how they portray it. I'm sure it will be far separated from the reality. The muslims in Dearborn are a miserable lot.
