I find this funny, the same stupid complaints about cops from a different bunch of people in a different city. Any city I pull up its the same shit.

Thank GOD I moved away from Redford.

Talk about naive! Anyone who has half a brain and observes police action in Redford, Taylor, Southgate, Allen Park, etc., can see it is all about generating revenue, and not public safety. One time I was going North on Telegraph by Detroit Diesel(infamous speed trap-cop car hidden by train overpass), when a cop was shooting radar at traffic. Meanwhile an older lady was changing her own tire 100 yards up the road. He didn't give a shit about her safety or situation. His action(inaction) was clearly only to meet the quota as stipulated by the township. This is an absolutely disgusting situation, especially in this tough economic time when people need every spare penny to survive.

Law enforcement and courts are for protecting people and settling disputes, not for raising "revenue". That's the job of the tax man. Clearly, the courts and cops in Redford are being used-- and willingly participating-- to merely collect money. This abuse of authority destroys the public's trust in government, police, courts, and the politicians that run the show.

There is only one crime that I believe deserves the punishment of death, and that is corruption, graft, and the acceptance of bribes by elected officials and judges. What the politicians and judges are doing in Redford by using their courts and police to raise revenue is such an egregious violation of the public trust that for the good of society as a whole... as a way to restore the trust the people have in government... the whole lot of them deserve to be hung off the I-96 / Telegraph overpass.

Ahhh, but this will never happen. So, what's the next best thing? Well, it's all about the money, right? I mean, they are abusing authority the public entrusted to the cops and courts in order to raise "revenue", right? Here's the plan:

1) Boycott ALL business in Redford Township, MI.
2) Find legal and lawful ways to cause Redford Township, MI to spend extra money.(There have GOT to be ways.)
3) Write to the state congressional district offices stating, "Here is my contribution to your election campaign of $100, minus the cost of the frivolous traffic ticket I received recently in Redford Township of $140, which I must recoup, leaving -$40"
4) If you have business interests in Redford Township, MI, relocate them to somewhere else, and let the township board and supervisor know WHY you are doing this.(Besides, Redford charges so much in property taxes on businesses, you would probably make up the cost of moving to a lower cost area in no time.)

Money talks. Hit them back where it hurts: Their coffers.

Ever notice that you never see a cop at a corner where people are doing dangerous things, only on a lonely, deserted straight section?

Ever wonder who sets the speed limits anyway? I mean, this is supposed to be a democracy, isn't it? Why is the speed limit on Telegraph 45 in Redford, yet 50 in Southfield?

i would like to know more about this khalil and her dui's! if anybody knows anything, please pass on the information.

does anyone know for sure that Karen Khalil has been pulled over for drunk driving? How could this be so, isn't she sitting and judging people daily, for doing this very thing?

LMAO....welcome to the world of politics and hypocrites. I'm guessing you're still in the young stage and learning about the political world. They are all corrupt hypocrites. Often, political figures break the laws and are let off the hook due to their position. If you haven't seen this, you aren't reading nor watching the news. Now, I'm not stating Khalil did break the law, but your comment was that on the surprise side as if being astonished a political leader could do such a thing. I'm simply letting you know, yes, they do....and very often. We only hear about those who get caught.

No I am not in the young stage of anything. I am in the stage of dealing with this judge and I am a little set back at the fact that you cannot believe in anything anymore. As tough as she is I would have thought that she just doesn't understand that people do make mistakes and are not horrible people. She treated me as if I killed someone. I was just shocked that she is yet another person you cannot trust and has possible MISTAKES of her own!!!!!!!!!!

Ever hear the word "hypocrisy"? Often, when people assume power, it's similar to the first time doing drugs, riding a roller coaster, having sex, etc., it's a rush. Many people are incapable of managing that sensation, continue to increase it and eventually lose control. This is how addictions begin. Many people in power reach such a high on it's outcome and rarely come down. All morals, values, ethics, mannerism, identical mistakes and more, are forgotten as their one true objective is expressing power. This world is full of power hungry, greedy, selfish people and rapidly increasing. The only hope is for the rest of us to realize it and regain control with our power to vote them out.

if they are comparing judge karen khalil to herr roland freisler (judge roland freisler) redford township has some serious problems. it must be madness to keep re-electing her again. she must be a friggin nutcase or socialpath to slap a $5000 on a young man for stealing a keg of beer. most people dont have a clue about judge roland freisler somebody should videotape judge karen khalil and post her tantrums online thats the best way to expose evil
