Me too! I like the idea of a fine dining restaurant here in Lockhart and Italian covers a wide variety of dishes. I admit I take friends and family into ATX or SATX to get a more refined meal. Hopefully no more fast food restaurants will come here, we have enough of those. PLEASE NO MORE DRIVE THRUs!

I would be happy with a chain restr. coming in, as long as, yes NO MORE BBQ. And no drive-thru availabilty.

I like Werner's esp since the waitstaff seems to be getter at customer service and serving skills. Just wish they would WRITE down the order. But the steaks are amazing. Much better than Sirloin Steakhouse.

A nice traditional italian restaurant would be welcome here, no more drive thrus, but to go menus are always a bonus. Know lots of people who would patronize and pay well for decent food. Anything not to have to dirty our own kitchens.

With valentines getting closer, I sincerely wish we did have a decent romantic restaurant in Lockhart. Something simple yet elegant with traditional food and wine.

I like the new steak place, but want something intimate. French or Italian or a combination of both, as long as the food and atmosphere were good.

Good old fashioned Italian. What I wouldn't give for a decent traditional eggplant parmigiana with a fine Texas red. What happened to supporting Texas wineries?

This is the first I heard something new outside of that new steak place, which I like.

I was told they're re-opening the pub and I've seen activity at the old pub. Anybody know if a new restaurant is in the works already or if they plan on re-opening? Either one would be great.

It's going to a bar. The Yanez family out of Maxwell has rented the building and is in the process of applying for their lisence, I was told this week.

I'm thinkin we needs a Wendys instead of all that talk bout romantic restaurants. I rekon we put one more BBQ place just to even things up. You know us Lockhart folk dont believe in change and we dont like new idears. Anytime one of yall gets a new idear in yalls head us council men will vote against u. So lets eat some fine BBQ, 'cause we aint getting anything new for a while, stick with the old but small walmart too. Thanks for the support fellars.

Don't give anything away for free that you could be making money on, Scorpio and that includes your own intellectual property. You may not realize it, but your opinion is worth a lot over these next few days. The Virgo Moon has the ability to sharpen your powers of observation to an incisive edge. When all is said and done, your greatest glory will have probably been in dragging the team after you on your crusade, whether they were willing to go or not.
