I was just surfing today when I ran up on this discussion. Rumors since the beginning of time have thrived, as well as discrimination. I asked a few friends about this subject and was told it began with certain people strongly opposed to improvements to a park too near hispanic neighborhoods with trashy yards,tall weeds and criminals .(Do they pay taxes too??) So another issue was brought up about crime having no boundries, hummm, seems it's just town talk buzzzzing around kitchen tables.

Its not that white people dont want the park improved because of the "race factor". Look at the way the people that actually live in that area keep the neighborhoods looking. You run your area down in the dumps and this is what happens. Why put good tax money into an area that nobody cares about till a white person says no?
