It's Lorenzo-the guy the stripper's boyfriend killed a mile from the burial site. I wish there was a living culprit so the family's had someone to vent their anguish on, but doesn't look like it.

Hiring a psychic is a good idea yet an expense that should not be borne by the tax payer. The victims' families should pitch in the money to bring a psychic. If they can't afford to do that they should hold a fund raiser or appeal to the public for donations.

Bingo......this person gets it.....if only the Police Chief would get fired and the FBI start crawling around.....boom solved...APD has become a joke, and all of you will pay with the lawsuits that David Young/APD will lose..

Just finished watching a rerun of the story on America's Most Wanted. What an incredibly sad story. No one deserves to die this way. God bless the families of these victims. I hope APD finds the person behind these gruesome crimes.

It seems like to me if APS would have searched for these women when they came up missing they may have caught the animal that did these horrible murders.Maybe a psychic could help in this case now. Aparently APD isnt geting any where with it. Iv seen a few TV shows were psychics have helped police solve cases before. If they get a real psychic and not some nut or scamer I think a psychic could help. This case is so old now it might be tough to solve now. I agree with the comment that once again sugest that it is Lorenzo. Its more than just corincidence that the murders stoped after the boy friend of the woman that Lorenzo was caught trying to take the body away from his residence killed.I pray for the familys that this crime will be solved soon.

Did you mean APD??? Or APS??? How do you know the police aren't getting anywhere with this case???? Are you one of the investigators? I feel for these families too, their loved one's did not deserve to die in the manner they did. But allow the police to do the job we pay them to do. Tax dollars should not be used to fund a psychic. If the families want this then they need to pay for it.

To do this right takes time and the Task force has to go back over all the details and de-conflict issues. There are many databases which state-wide and nation wide that collects, collates, and analyzes
crimes of violence. This was a huge crime scene which was severly disrupted by on-going construction personal and equipment building houses, weather conditions etc. If you know anything about crime scenes especially 4-6 years old this makes the job very difficult! it's like putting a thousand piece puzzel together no easy tasks. Waiting is always hard, but in this case it's prudent!

the families and friends will blame whomever they can and whomever they can sue.. Give me a break, these families did nothing to help find them. They knew the women were druggies and hookers.

I do not think the taxpayers should foot the bill for a psychic but I understand the West Mesa victim's families wanting to leave no stone unturned in finding the killer or killers who murdered, in cold blood, their loved ones. They filed missing person's reports, did what they could at the time. I have no idea how I would have handled it if I'd been in their place, nor do you, other than being heartsick, fearful & devastated. Hindsight is wonderful...huh? Your post was cruel.

These families are just looking for a way to vindicate their failures to help these girls while they were alive. They are gone. The perp is dead. You all failed as family to help when they needed it most. And all your grandstanding now does not make you a better family member then. If you had but this much energy into helping them while they were alive they may still be here today.

A psychic? You know that there are no documented cases of psychics actually finding anyone or anything, right? APD will have better luck relying on forensic evidence than on a so-called 'psychic'. Please. They're ALL scam artists!

Fact, the guy who supposedly delivered the stripper to Montoya's trailer was not her boyfriend, he was her pimp, a member of the Memphis Mob & is now doing time in another state for an unrelated crime.(I know Chief Schultz claims the Memphis Mob didn't arrive here until 2006 but he forgets some of us can count.)

Only one person out of the three who were there that night is alive & his story had more holes in it than a piece of Swiss cheese. Montoya may have acted alone & killed the women but I think he was a little frog in a big pond. Drug dealers can get downright nasty when not paid & the Memphis Mob was funneling drugs through Albuquerque, big time. Prostitution & drugs go hand in hand. I believe Montoya was connected to the murders but I'm a long way from being convinced he acted alone. He was a sleazy, slimy piece of garbage but not smart enough to have pulled that many murders off by himself, in his trailer, parked in a trailer park & not have been caught. The case is cold, his trailer long gone & can't be tested for DNA from the victims proving they were all killed there which I doubt. The end result is Montoya will be blamed but somebody knows the complete truth & eventually will talk. This is my opinion which add $5 to it & a tasty coconut latte is yours for the asking at Starbucks.

My heart goes out to the victim's families, especially the children. The families need to keep pushing for the case to be solved. Hopefully the reward will loosen lips. Dead or alive, it will bring closure.

How do you know it isn't? Just because I don't want my tax dollars used this way doesn't mean one of them didn't mean something to me. It doesn't mean than I don't want whoever did this brought to justice. There are thousands of people who have helped the families of these women and are still helping. I feel that there are better ways to spend money when it comes to this case.

APD, just stop! Your not going anywhere, the dead are now pretty much identified except for three to four in number. Your only flowing lightly on the media hype. Please tell the truth and let the public know, you don't know where the anus is as opposed to the mouth. It's the public putting out the effort in searching for answers, not you, almighty gawd......lol, your patheitc...

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Virgo

You aren't fooling anyone - it's easy for everyone else to see that inexperienced people are unaware of their obligations, Virgo. You're grumpy about starting a familiar process from the beginning again, but don't let that get in the way of getting on with it. Sour grapes have no place in your daily dealings. Although you may 'own' a project, it's ultimately in the hands of someone else. Deal with it and then move on.
