Unbelievable! What happened to the statuatory law? this was definitely a case if there ever was one. Perhaps the law doesn't exist here in NYS, I really could not swear to it. In any event this should have not ended with probation. Not to mention I would like to know why these 14 year olds were allowed wo be alone with 24 year old men in the first place, or did their parents know of it. Many of our teenage girls are really acting and looking like they are much older, 20's and even 30's. Innocence is a rarity these days.

the usual sentence is 1 and a third to four years in prison...can this D.A.
