What happened to Global Warming?

Since the Democrats took control of everything Global Warming has seem to disappear.

Maybe Global Warming was their code for GW Bush, and not a natural catastrophe after all?

LOL It's so funny someone posts a decent topic on here and someone else has to respond "u people have a borring life u don't have anything better to talk about than global warming .get a life" I don't mean to be rude, because I am a logical, reasonably sound person unlike many people on here, but what the heck?

I think global warming isn't really an issue... most REAL studies I've read say that the temperature has increased like 1 degree in the past 500+ years, and it's a normal thing. The last time the temperatures were up this high, just exactly as they are now, there were no cars to polltute the atmosphere.. It's a natural cycle. My opinion.

global warning is real when I was a child we would have several big snows a year and zero tempatures and I even remember cumberland river freezing over and cars drove across it 1956 I believe and people are destroying our world and steel factories and every polution exists in the air causing cancer and other diseases and time is coming life on earth will be no more if something not done.We can deny it but that don't change the facts.

yeah I remember hearing my folks talk about the mail carrier driving across cumberland river in gainesboro when it frooze over and nowdays we hardly ever get far below freezing and don't have much snow either so I've never thought about it but you are 100% correct in what you said cause my sister lives next to a steel mill in ohio and her white car looks like it sprayed with black pepper every day and people from miles around wash thier vehicles every day and that stuff has to settle in air holding heat and smog in the enviroment.

No one in this county has the intelligenge to talk about something like global warming. We had rather talk about who's screwing who or who's doing drugs. Seems like that's all we're interested in.

I respect your answers and I may be incorrect, I don't pretend to have any real answers. I just know in my Astronomy class at TTU all the research we found said that in times before cars the fluctuations were normal--that the Earth went through the same problems before there were cars and steel mills. I am not educated enough on the matter to have a decent discussion.I would assume that the reason it has fallen out as the main topic of conversations is because there are more matters that we have to deal with as soon as possible, such as the economy. Once everything dies down, we will see this topic come back into the forefront.
