That place is ancient. I cant believe it is still open. My Grandfather and uncles opened that place about 50 yrs ago. They went to jail many times for selling home made moodshine. All that I know are stories, but I know the bean patch. It is not in Fountain Run. It is in Clay County just by my Grandmas house. God bless that place....if he has it in his heart.

Do try, the sawmill that is, one of the best party bars around on a saturday night. Maybe it is all the pills the Doctors in macon county are passing out that`s making every body wierd at the Bean Patch.
