The Dog Island park area has been a constant source of criminal activity since the late 60's when as a young boy I often frequented to explore.

I remember finding numerous items over the years that were reminders of illegal activity. Clothes, fishing gear, rusty car parts and more.

Hobo's would often camp along the river's edge waiting for the next riverboat or steam train to come by and take them to warmer climates or places of employment.

Happy birthday to the flying nun, she's 63 today and looking wonderful.

Dog Island Park needs more lights ; The Park has many dangerous people, and items in and around the park; I know the County is hurting because of the depression, and lower property values. But in reality this park needs more security, and the only time it seems safe, is when the city has the Civil War Shows ! Red Bluff has become one38 of the dumping cities for ? people !

The park needs to be closed period. Poisonous snakes, crocodiles and giant spiders are everywhere not to mention quicksand holes that are over 50 feet deep in some locations.

Why is Shasta County, not releasing the records of deaths from H1N1? What right, do the big shots in Shasta County think that they have to not release public records when requested? This just happens to be a matter of life and death, for each person in Shasta County, not to mention our neighboring county, Tehama. Read the story yourselves:

Swine Flu Deaths Covered Up In California
By Dennis Romero in City News, community, coroner, mediaFri., Nov. 6 2009 @ 9:36AMNeon Tommy, the USC Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism publication, has been rebuffed by several counties in California in its attempt to obtain records of swine flu deaths.
Neon Tommy

Only after some persistence did Los Angeles County allow the USC journalists to take a peek at its H1N1-related death certificates. The result? According to Neon Tommy 57 people have died in L.A. since the latest outbreak of swine flu in April, including 13 people since early October.

The USC journalists found that in many cases the county had not informed family members of the potential H1N1 cause of death. County officials told the publication that it wasn't their responsibility to notify relatives that the swine flu was near and that it had taken out a loved one.

Neon Tommy's exam also found that, while health officials warn that H1N1 is especially dangerous for the very young and pregnant women, it killed a wide array of people in L.A. County so far this season:

"Of the 44 County victims, nine were under age 20, 13 between the ages of 20 and 40, and 22 over age 40," states the USC report. "There were two 1-year-olds and victims who were 3, 5, 7 and 8, only one of whom had preexisting conditions that would have made her vulnerable to a deadly flu strain."

Meanwhile, the publication reveals that 10 counties in the state refused to hand over swine-flu-related death records: Alameda; Contra Costa; Marin; Napa; San Bernardino; San Diego; San Francisco; Santa Clara; Shasta and Sonoma. The only other county besides Los Angeles that granted its request was Fresno.

"We're finding that it is incredibly difficult nationwide for a variety of reasons to get the actual names of the people who have died of H1N1," Lucy Dalglish, executive director of the Reporter's Committee for the Freedom of the Press, told Neon Tommy.

The best hash is made from fresh sheep dung and diesel oil. Add a little vodka to the paste and let dry. You can substitute horse dung but it's not as hallucinogenic.

Wake up ! We have Obama Media ! During The Civil War this was called: Yellow Jouralismn ! The Daily News is part of Muti Media, They happend to feel that any news that is negative to President Obama and all of his Czars is notr worth printing ! Let's just say Thank You to President Obama and HLS Czar Janet for doing such a great job on protecting America; Obama and his cabinet had ten month advance warning, and did nothing but say: Do Not Worry ! Well now you know what the Change is really about ! Just think how safe we all will be with: Obama/Nancy Care ? Just the Truth; Obama and his Czars just blew this Swine Flu ! Did you know that that the Swine Flu H1 N1 Flu has spread to CATS ? Yes your kitty can give you the H1N1 Flu, and their is not enough medicne/vaccine for human; let alone cat's, Ferrel Cats, House cat's wild cat's, can have spread the H1 N1 Flu; This is not a lie ! The Obama CABINET IS SLEEPING AT THE JOB ! Just Google H1N1 Flu Cats, This has been confirmed in the State of Oregon and several Mid West States, So keep your kitty, & Cat's inside, make sure they do not stray with Ferrel Cats, keep their shots up to date, do not let CATS or kitty to sleep with your young children ! This has been confirmed in Several States; Obama is keeping this very quiet ! Let's ask Obama to give us his change Back to America ! Obama may fool some of the people, Some of the Time, But he will not fool all the people, All the Time; Just The Truth !

Talk about yellow journalism, we weren't allowed to know how many soldiers were killed in Iraq or to have memorials for them until Doonsbury listed them on his comic strip. Bush said "Your either with us, or against us." He was scary. We have more freedom of expression now, though still the fear.

By the way Dingo, Smash, Fargo, and Kush, are you Pod people? I always thought Cheech and Chong were fictional characters.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Taurus

Someone isn't mucking about today, and if they're annoyed about something they'll come right out with it. This means you could be on the receiving end of some zingers, but equally it means that you'll be giving as good as you get. Now, although it will be very tempting to let off steam by giving someone an earful, aren't there better directions in which to channel your energy?
