Red Bluff woman booked on embezzlement from non-profit

A Red Bluff woman suspected of embezzling $11,000 from the Shasta County Red Cross turned herself in to the Shasta County Jail Thursday afternoon.

She was not led astray, she chose her path. I am not judging the road she took, merely stating an opinion. |

The road she took? What about th money she took, that was donated or raised to aid families effected by disaster or other stuff? Who gives a rats ass about what someone who "knows" her thinks, she broke the law. I thought the red cross was there to help people not take advantage of their doner's. It's low lives like this piece of trash that give these places a bad name and people hesitate to help. After all, it's not like it was a little mistake, hell she had doner's make the checks payable to her. She knew what she was doing, being greedy and taking what did not belong to her.

Please, to those out there, if you are doing anything close to this, STOP IT. How terribly embarrassing for everyone involved and shameful. How could a person embezzle, then put the money back? They CAN'T. Don't do this in the first place. Repent if you are doing this to your employer now or face what the bitter consequences. So sad, here she was in a position of trust. I hope some of her students save lives. At least they received some value from her training.
