I understand officers were only doing their job and the people busted might have broken the law if a jury or judge says so however; why is prostitution illegal?

I would not sell my body for sex, but there are a lot more things going on where we need our wonderful police officers than out rounding up people that want to buy or sell sex or even drugs for that matter. Why not legalize both? I do not care if someone buys drugs or if someone is selling drugs. I do think the Government should tax drugs being sold so in that way, the Government should step in an sell them legally with taxation and the same with prostitution. After all; that cuts out the pimps and Drug Lords and provide revenues for our State and Government.

If anyone thinks prostitution or drugs are going away, they are crazy. Prostitution and drugs were going on in Bible times and always will go on so why not just accept that fact, legalize it and go with harm reduction process at taxation. People here can look up Harm Reduction vs AA NA or SA.

Portugal had a bad drug problem and they legalized all drugs at taxation and now they have lower crime and lower addiction rates because it took the fun out of it.

Our great and I might add cute police officers (one cute one helped me with a flat tire) should be out getting those that rape people or those that harm children and things like that.

BTW, our police force needs a raise in pay!

Hi Brenda! I happen to agree with you that both should be legalized and taxed.
