Big Beetles Found in Mail at Berks Post Office : WFMZ-TV 69News

This is crazy, We have to make sure these things don't escape.

I work for a major pest control company. I hope we arent gonna have an outbreak like the stink bugs!!!

This story really bugs me.

Some places in the far east, these are kept as pets..no joke...

They're great with mushrooms in a marsala wine sauce. mmmmmmm good yo

Why isn't this being treated as an ack of terrorism? Do you know what these things could do to our green lands and farms? Labled male/female for breeding. This is no joke! We need stricker laws. Jail time, not just a $100.00 fine.

Talk about making a mountain out of a molehill. In regions of the world without as much space as we enjoy (read: no room for domestic pets), this is a hobby. People love it.

i work at a post office,i would have just delivered the package where it belongs.none of my business what's inside.there is a lot worse things being shipped,believe me.drugs,guns,that kind of thing happens all the time.

Jason, It makes me nervous that you are a Federal employee and you wouldn't notify your Postmaster of a suspicious package. The Mohnton Postmaster should be commended for his actions. These beetles could have caused a famine in PA and possibly the country. Don't be so naive!

Think before you scare more "naive" people reading this. Did you actually think that the bugs could destroy, let alone create a famine! You gotta be joking!!!! Take some time to study the specific beatles that were captured. God did not create them to survive, nor cross breed with any beetles in northeast PA! They are nice pets that if get loose, might enjoy one "last supper" before fall sets in.

The beetles need to be deported, just like the illegal aliens that are invading OUR country. They should stick the beetles up the butts of the criminals involved.
