at least eidson has been a practicing attorney for many years and has experience. gaston hasn't held a position for any length of time since he passed the bar. in his current position with the state treasurer's office has recently come into question...easy enough to research...check the st. louis post dispatch. he would certainly not be a good choice at all!

i think gov. blunt should consider appointing former houstonian jon hutcheson. he is very capable and would be an asset to the position.

I hope it is Mike Anderson he is very good attorney. He is doing such a good job that I think it is the only choice or the smart choice. I think we should call and let the gov know how he feel. He would make a great judge he got you back Mr Anderson.

Edsion is one of the best this area has to offer. Do not know or care what you have against him. I know for a fact that he is the attorney I would get if I had to use one from this area. I say that because he is the one my wife got. Take it from me never get caught by your wife with her best friend. If you do you better hope she does not get Edsion's phone number from a friend.

Sounds to me like you got what you deserved no matter who her lawyer would have been. Sounds like a slam dunk case to me.! You must be proud that you got caught!

Stick with the topic and Edsion would be the best to be the next judge. Do not get off on who did what to who. Sounds like a x-wife to me. Edsion is a good attorney and keeps his life in order. You don't hear a lot of bad things about him. Except for what a good attorney he is. I do not know if everyone always thinks being an attorney is a good thing lol.

I don't think Edsion is the best for this job. There are other lawyers in other parts of the county who might be better suited for it. They don't have to be from Houston. Ellsworth is from Cabool. I hope he is not appointed. He is a small town lawyer and I don't think he is up to the task.

Ok, Houston, Licking, Cabool, S'Ville, Plato, R'Ville are ALL small towns. Got something against small town folks? Small town folks can't be the best in their professions? Wanna bring in some big city lawyer, huh?

He's an honest, level-headed man with "small town" values. Sounds like what we need to me.

Well, I would get someone temporary from another county until someone from this county ran to be elected. I think that we need someone neutral if they are going to be appointed. Then if Edsion or whoever wants the job then let them run for it.

What is the reasoning behind that? If we have a local attorney who is experienced in the law why would we want someone from another county? It doesn't make sense to me. Tell me why you think that?

Because then the people would get to decide who our judge would be and not just one person or a small group. We would get to vote on it. The way it is now, we have no say. Just stuck with whoever the Gov wants.
