3 I don't know where you get your information BUT the fact is Mr. Antons trailer is a flatbed used for hauling refinery tankers AND WAS tottally EMPTY at the time of the accident. There is no call to make false statmwnts or exagerate the facts. All that does is make a tragic situation worse. An accident IS an accident |

2 Cut and paste the above link if you care to see the difference between an accident and a WRECK. Let's all stop the gross misuse of the word accident. Accidents are not preventable. Deer crossings cause accidents. Earthquakes cause accidents. Mudslides cause accidents. Commercial truck drivers operating their rigs too fast for safe driving -cause WRECKS. I don't care if the car that was rear-ended was stopped in the number 1 travel lane. If this particular commercial driver was unable to stop in time then he was going to fast. The man is a Wyoming resident. He knows what snow is. The extent of the damage that was caused in this WRECK speaks for itself. Highway Patrolmen conduct accident investigations with scientific formula to include grade, road conditions, the particular type of material used for the road etc... All that report will do is slam dunk this case. "I made a mistake" is not a criminal defense. I hope the surviving members of the VICTIM family are never under the impression that this wreck could not have been avoided. |

1 Karma goes alot of ways just take a look at the way you all are acting, some should heed their own advice on the comments as well. grow up people for Gods sake your suppose to be adults start acting maturely for once and show you have some common sense, or do you need a box of crayons to chew. it sickens me that in a time of crises you cant even pull together and help each other heal. at least e-mail each other and get your stories straight before posting. |

1 I pled that knowone else blog on this blog. I understand that this horrific accident changed many people lives but it is now time to heal. Nothing anyone has said or done on this blog will ever change the fact that Andrew a husband, dad, brother and friend was killed, A wife left a window, and two little girls are very hurt,. As well as one man in jail. That is all the facts that matter at this point. My Blessing goes out to every family member this has effected. Only time be the deciding factor! |

I like how the victims families insist that all they have heard are "FACTS"... Truth be told, police reports contain inaccurate information all the time. I have personally been involved in two car accidents in which the facts were simply not given by the cop. The officer made assumptions in my case about my destination, and also placed my car in the front of the line of 4, when I was actually second in line of 5.... So... Because you read something does not make is to. Further, it is unfair to say that you know the facts, but that nobody else should comment if they were not there... Were you there? If not, then we all have the right to our voices and opinions. Hopefully we can see one another's point of view and keep things civil...

1 As for Mr. Anton... He is where he belongs. Justice will be served. They do not put people in jail without reason. And they certainly don't put people in jail for simply having an accident! Oh, I'm sorry the jail/prison is full of people who didn't do it! My heart goes out to the 2 children who are physically hurt (at the time critically) and the grieving, injured mother who is now alone to raise her family. This was a loss that didn't have to have happened. |

2 I see the injuries and pain that this wreck has caused .. It's been 6 months and you can still see the shock and devastation in the eyes of the three people who survived that wreck.I am terribly sorry that Arthur Anton is so grief stricken and feels terrible for what he caused that day, fortunate for him , he will get his day in court, will get to tell his side, and unfortunantly for the man killed in that wreck, he did not get that same treatment. When you wake up from a nightmare as my family is living, you realize that although the children and the mother in that car where given a second chance for life, it's not a life any of you would want to live. Holidays, birthdays and just simple nights at home with Mom, Dad and the girls are no more. The children are grief stricken, the mother on the verge of a breakdown. Please.. Think before you write such things .. There is only one person who truly knows what happened minutes after that crash, and she can and will tell anyone including a jury that at no time did she see Anton, that she had to walk down a highway barefoot to flag down people to help as her children and husband lay dying in that car. One day she will be able to do just that, and hopefully then you will be able to see that it was irresponsibility and disregard for anyone else on that road that day, and because of that, the lives of so many, but more impportantly, a 7 and a 9 year old are forever altered and changed. |
