They are setting record profits! You are "wrong." Can pay huge 2011 bonuses to salary and pay CEO $2.9 in 2011!

they are not losing money. if you lost money every year like they claim would you hand out big bonuses? this place is a gold mine. apollo owns 51% and they are just an investment group.

Try again. Where do your figures come from, the union hall? Well if they say it, it HAS to be true. They have no hidden agenda. Show me your sources, I'd like to read the same articles that you have. Can I pour you another glass of Kool-Aid?

This one, Pep, is hilarious! The ultimate hypocrite. Thanks for coming online to tell us to get offline. Thanks for spending all that time to research how much everyone posts so that you didn't sound like a fool when you told us all how bad our lives were. I wish I was just like you. It must be really cool to be a person who spends all day bitching about people who bitch on the Internet. I'm jealous...LOL!

I will be more than happy to answer your question. When the whole thing was settled back in the early 90s the union had to follow the laws set out by the NLRB and let these replacement workers join up. I remember the picture in the local paper showing the replacement workers signing on the dotted line at the union hall. It had something to do with the amount of time they worked in the plant up to that point. As the years went by the regular employees learned to get along with them but make no mistake, some still refer to them as scabs and that is a fact. Enjoyed your great comment.

You are an idiot. They have been turning profits for the last few years. They just signed a 2 billion dollar contract with air bus. (that's billion with a b). They renewed contracts with Boeing and the government, and they are in no way loosing any money, but I guess people like to talk about things they don't really have any idea about...

I think you're confusing the company as a whole and the Ravenswood plant. I didn't see anyone claiming that the consolidated company as a whole was unprofitable. The comments stated that Ravenswood was hemorraging money. What that means is that the portion of the profits that are attributed to Ravenswood's plant were not enough to cover the expenses. I assume that when you type "loosing" you mean "losing." With that assumption, that $2 Billion dollar contract is not all profit. That is income without naming the expenses involved. For all you know, it may take the entire $2 Billion to complete the contract with Air Bus. It's not likely, but just saying that they are profitable only because of a big contract is not accurate. Sean Quinn used to be Ireland's richest man, with a net worth of about 6 Billion dollars. He went in the red $2.7 Billion in 2009 and had to file bankruptcy. And that was just one guy spending that much. How many people spend money for Constellium?

I find it funny that 99% of you don't even know who you work for.

Has anyone really ever seen this man Kyle Lorentzen?

And I've never seen many companies who operate like this one who claims to have made $$$$. But it's funny how they just keep on going.
