Do lots of people in Crane talk and gossip about each other or is it just certain groups? I love to live in small towns but it's true that people do spend too much time in other's business.

Crane wasn't my birth place (thank god) and it wasn't where I was going to die.I grew up in Crane T.X. and yes it gets old pretty fast. The community is great , the school system is good but living in Crane is depressing. You can not do anything wrong without everyone knowing what you did before you did it and by wrong I mean getting a ticket or something minor. You are judged in Crane by your actions.Good thing I left while I could.:)

I lived in Rankin before we moved to Crane and it wasn't any better. That was a long time ago and I'm sure it has improved. Right now I'm in Wilmington, NC right on the beach and this is the place to be. The town is just big enough to have plenty to do and not so small that everyone is in your business. The weather is great and the beach, well, it's the beach. Like Crane but with the Ocean.

I lived in Crane when I was in Elem. and Jr.High and we loved it. We thought it was the greatest. Missed it when we left so I don't know what it was like after that.

I lived in Crane Texas in the 8th grade. It was the most depressing year of my life. The kids there were mean a cruel. I tried so hard to make friends. Did make one. Her name was Jo Ella I think. Other than that, the whole experience has made me never, ever want to go to Texas for any reason ever again.

When I first moved to Crane it was awful. The kids were mean as hell...all but a few, but after that first year, it all turned around and it ended up being some of the best 6 years of my life! Life is what you make of it.

for those who know me and my family,I grew up in crane. my parents still live there and i visit two times a year. it was a boring place to live but the people are very honest and are generally good people. we were poor, so some people looked down on us. so crane is a great place for a family with very little crime. i have lived in florida for almost 30 yrs, and i own a business which does very well. it is crane that helped me think the way i do today.........thanks crane

I graduated from CHS in 1972. I have not been back in many years, but I have great memories and think of some good old friends.

My mother was at Crane Nursing Home for 9 months whilst we redid her house and hired a caregiver
for her. She walked in without any aids and we had to wheel her out subconcious in a wheelchair.
Too many accidents toward the last 3 months where
they said she needed to stay longer. There's a Devil Doctor (in 2004)at Crane...hope he rots in hell. The Nursing Director said he's a dope fiend.

nine months to redo a house? If she was in a nursing home why the caregiver? What did the care giver do? Sleep and ignore your mother, neglected the duties you hired her for. Where were you? Are you like other famlies that just drop off their loved ones and say "See Ya" Spend all their money and then leave town.
just wondering

There is absolutely one thing that I don't like about Crane. All you men who drink and drive and just toss your beer bottles out your car windows onto streets, neighbors yards, etc. etc. etc. Who in the heck do you think picks up these bottles. You know who you are. You are dispicable, disgusting and have no right being a resident of this town. Shame, Shame on you.

I lived outside of crane on a ranch.Went to school there 80-84.I think living in a small town helped because I moved to Wichita Falls TX and almost got in over my head but have been into lawenforcement for 20 years now.Crane did teach me some things.Good Luck to the football team!!!!

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Leo

If you were unable to resolve yesterday's difficulties they'll be even more pronounced today a Mars turns retro in your sign. Get everything out in the open so you can discuss it, otherwise you run the risk of harbouring resentments and grudges that will emerge further down the line. Be prepared to hear some home truths and also to deliver a few of your own. But be fair!
