BOOOOOO!!!!!!!! why don't we compost? if we did our gardens and dirt would be better AND we would be saving the planet. come on people... don't you care about the place we live on? i compost. all you have to do is put your compost in a bucket and find an area in the woods or yard and put a small fence around it (so animals don't eat it) and just pour your compost into it! geezz!!!!!!!!!!

Why is Vermont so far ahead of the rest of the country in talking about these new ideas?

You would need to build a box around it and fix tempered glass over it to help it heat in winter.

Compost creates heat to over 140 degrees and stays constant for days until it becomes fertilizer.

ummmm, yea... but you don't have to wait for it to do anything. you just leave it alone forever, literally. you wouldn't have to use it as fertilizer, but you can if you want. i love our planet!!!!!!!!!! and in the winter you just leave it there... and keep compostin'! you wouldn't have to tend it. i think schools should compost.

Linzee you have hit upon a great idea for renewable energy, our schools should be useing this to heat water.

Yes I think renewable energy can work. I believe hydro power can be achieved through the use of siphons also.

Daily Horoscope for January 1

Cancer

Happy New Year, Cancer! Are you ready to put those resolutions into place? Not quite?! Crustaceans are never quite sure just how much they can get away with and where to draw the line. You have a flair for the dramatic and when you're the narrator, your exploits become deeds that would make a knight proud. Your fans know you're a hero, whatever history might prove. Audacity impresses most people but if you go to far you could cause offence.
