The bible says eating lobster is an abomination. You should not have been doing it in the first place.

Jesus said it was ok to eat lobster and pork. That's why we can eat ham on Easter. Don't try to fool a real Christian.

All this means is that these states have eliminated marriage in favor of civil unions. There is no longer the presumption of sexuality to the union between the partners.

This can be easily tested in the courts, and I anticipate the day when it will arrive.

The abortion issue has been divisive enough. I can see this shaping up as a contest between blue states and red states. This may be the "straw that breaks the camels back", and that sunders the US, doing today what the Civil War had not done those many years ago.

I expect the secessionist movement to gather momentum if ever same-sex marriage attempts to be imposed on those states that do not want it.(Yes, there is a secessionist movement.)

He was only half Jew. The other half was God genes.

And he wouldn't of tolerated Homosexualists. Or high taxes.

Both homosexuals and heterosexuals should have to have civil unions under civil law and leave marriage as a sacrament of the church. God defined marriage over two thousand years ago. I don't think Maine law is going to change that.

I don't think Jesus would have tolerated straight people who get married in a Vegas wedding chappel and get divorced 2 months later.

Do you think Jesus would have picked Elizabeth Taylor as the spokesperson for "Heterosexualist" Marriage?

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Aries

The prospect of travel really appeals to you today, especially if you don't have any holidays booked for the foreseeable future. So be careful if you're out shopping and you happen to walk past a travel agent's, because almost before you know it you could be sitting in there waving your credit card around and consulting your diary for the best day to take off for the wide blue yonder.
