Have you ever noticed that this happens every single year and no precautions are ever taken? People still keep building houses in fire prone areas and then are surprised when it gets reduced to ashes. Same with mudslides.

Some people just have short term memory loss. Or, they think it will never happen to them.

I always wonder, when I read these articles and watch the news, why the media alerts the pyros in the area to the possibilities? It sometimes seems as though they are fanning the flames.
