So I guess Mobile means that legal and native born construction workers and the like don't eat lunch. Or , maybe there are no legal or native born labors in the PV area.

MOBILE,
"stop hiring illegal aliens"..
you're right, lets go and get native born whites who will NOT work for the wages that most contruction owners are paying. Time and again i see ignorant whites complaining about illegals, but its those same white business owners, creating a job market for these " illegals".. You complain, but then you're too cheap to pay a fair labor type wage. you'd rather pay 2/3 cost less for the illegal.
its decision time, either pay a wage that would suffice for a native born non-illegal, or shut up, and keep your cost down, by employing thse mexicans that not only work harder, but for less money!

White people will never work as hard as us Latinos. There are a few exceptions but not many.

Get over yourselves. These lunch trucks serve a purpose. Once your in the Lunada Bay area there is NO WHERE to eat unless you want to pay ten bucks for a stale sandwich. People on the hill are rude and get on my nerves! They're not happy unless they have something to b i t c h about. Lunch trucks should be a non-issue.

The problem is that the workers want lunch "served" to them by their employer...I tell my workers...don't show up to work unless you have your lunch for home. I'm not paying these guys to drive 20 minutes to get to a store, 10 minutes to wait in line for the order, 20 minutes back to the job site and then they take an hour to chew one bite. I personally do not go out to lunch every day. It is too costly. I'm not paying for the workers to go out to lunch every day. Bag it boys!

This construction worker Mauricio was hired by my concrete guy...he took a piss in my garage on the wall and then pissed on the siding on my home...I left the back door open for him to use the bathroom whenever he wanted. No, he would rather piss all over. I guess its good he doesn't work in a restaurant.

People who eat food from lunch trucks deserve whatever food poisoning they get. Take a look at the supply chain you fools -- where do they get their food, who handles it between producer and truck owner, and how clean is that guy serving you?

Whatever your politics or prejudices, get a brain and start thinking. Do you really trust a guy in a truck to have the same standards of food prep as a restaurant that gets inspected?

I live in Palos Verdes and I am disappointed with the city's ordinance which clearly sets up annoyances and hurdles for the taco trucks to do business which has the same effect of stopping them from working in Palos Verdes. I think the taco trucks are providing a good service and adding some flavor to the city. I think that the city has a lot of elderly residents who are very weary of noise and a small number of these people probably inundated the city with complaints which caused the City to pass such an ordinance.

If the people who frequent these taco trucks are so "unsavory" and there "characters" are being questioned, then why do these people let them come in to there neighborhoods to clean there houses , there yards and build there homes and take care of there snotty kids? LOL...

Were you aware that workers in upscale restaurant also hold their D****, when they go to the bathroom, and they wipe their A*** too, also, masturbate with their hands.
FYI, it's up to the individual, not the place to
maintain their Hygiene

Let me clarify. They receive a lunch hour...just not a two hour lunch. Big difference. When I said I didn't go out to lunch every day...I meant that I did not BUY LUNCH AT A RESTAURANT, CART, ETC. each day. It is too expensive. Geeez! Peace.
