here is the gist of it all. there is no excess of money anymore. for a very long time problems have been wallpapered over by Sacramento. bandaids and budget tricks were the preferred fix to many things. when the economy took a dump the bandaids fell off and the wallpaper began to peel. now there are only two choices- cut budgets to fit the income, or raise income(taxes) to fit the budget. the majority of voters chose no more new taxes. where the cuts fell were up to Sacramento, not to you and i. we said "live within your means" and they
said "let them eat cake" we need more money to come into the golden state, not just Sacramento. we need to turn our economy to turn around. |
