Making a Difference one Teddy Bear at a time. Our students at NNJJA are also learning how to make a difference in the lives of others, one teddy bear at a time. By taking part in 100-$100-100 (collecting one hundred used teddy bears, raising $100 and making 100 cards to send to children in need, to let other children know that our children care, Morah Ketirah at NNJJA of Temple Israel of Ridgewood, NJ is teaching tzedakah, or righteous giving..one teddy bear at a time. This effort has been initiated in addition to the ongoing toy drive being held by working moms network in Short Hills, NJ and SAR Academy of Riverdale, NY. To date since Dec. 2002, 129,000 toys have been collected to ship to Israeli children in need. We would love to expand our efforts and invite others to join in with us. We are in need of toy donations, funds to pay for shipping and used duffel bags to ship the toys in. Please contact Claire Ginsburg Goldstein www.bearfrombergenfield.com for further information and join us. We need your help to make a child's world a better place, one teddy bear at a time.

Making a Difference our way, one teddy bear at a time. Please join us in our mission. We have an ongoing slightly used and much loved teddy bear drive being held at NNJJA in Ridgewood, NJ. Students from your towns attend our Hebrew school. We participate in "100 teddy bears-$100- 100 good will cards" called 100-$100-100 campaign. Due to the efforts of NNJJA support of our program, we were able to reach 200-$200-200 this year. These toys were added to our already successful toy drives in other towns, bringing our present total to 129,000 in just under 10 years. Your schools and youth groups could participate as well. These toys are shipped to Israeli children who are in need of socialization skill development in day care and residential treatment centers and comfort in their national hospitals. Please contact Claire Ginsburg Goldstein founder of www.bearsfrombergerfield.com . Thank you bear-y much. We hope to collect 1,000,000 used teddy bears to ship over to Israel.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Cancer

You have stars in your eyes and you're in a really romantic mood today. Your idea of heaven is to be with that special person in your life, preferably doing something very nice. If you meet someone new or a relationship gets off the ground today, things will always be rather dreamy and otherworldly between you. It will be as though real life, with all its problems, never intrudes on your time together.
