what happend in sci houtzdale today y did the conselors call inmates home and say they cant call home or have visitors.?????

I would like to know the answer to this question myself Rell Girl! They are in lockdown until Monday from what I understand.

i heard a fight broke out thursday night someqne went to the hospital it involved 20 or so inmates i hope this info helps.....

I called the prison this morning. They are still in lock down. According to a newspaper article, a fight broke out in the yard Thursday night. About 20-21 inmates were involved and one had to get helicoptered out with severe injuries. The article also stated that it took 15 minutes for officers to get it under control. WAY TOO LONG!!! No wonder so many people got hurt

wat article in the paper was this and does anyone knows if there is visit on thurdays.

wow that crazy does anyone know if there is visit this thurday or the rest of the week can u tell me where was that article from.

The paper it was in, is called The Progress News. The article came out on Saturday, the 11th. As of today, there as still no visits until they can sort through the details and maintain safety. I would have to think that this would be achieved soon. Let's hope so, anyway!

did anyone call the prison and see if there is visit on thursday .

well the lock down was lifted.... my baby called home last night!!! i had no idea there had been a fight lol i have been sitting here mad at him for not calling all weekend. i dont know if they can deny visits on thursday but i am heading up there on sunday, if the lock down is lifted i am sure visits are ok again

I have been told that the locdown has been lifted Monday morning 7/13 however I have information that there were 2 serious fights and alotmore serious injuries than just the 1. I hope and pray that this infois not correct. I did not get this from the facility but from an aquantance wholives in the area. Again no confirmation I just hope it's wrong.

i heard that the guy that was airlifted passed away....

thats what he told me when he called on tuesday ~ it is sad and i feel bad for his family ~ at the same time i am releived that mine wasnt hurt sometimes i get sick from worrying about him all the time ~ jail is a dangerous place and i know that the guys are there for one reason or another and that there are going to be fights and other issues but i wish they could keep it a lil safer for them

prez wifey so how long does your husband have left? and do u visit him often from philly i heard it is a 5-6 hr ride i havent been up there yet? but mine has a long time to go.....i miss him so much and pray for him daily......

I try to go up once a month ~ I drive from outside of Philly (I am close to the Trenton Makes Bridge) and the drive is about 3 sometimes 3 1/2 hours (I drive kinda fast lol) but it has never taken me more than 4 hours. Mine has awhile to go unless the appeal goes in his favor. xxxx (crossing my fingers) I write to him every day because mail is the one thing most of them look forward to. I try to go up Sundays because the visiting area is less crowded and I can stay from 10am to 3:45pm when they kick us out. You should take the trip up use your GPS though because it can get confusing and youre on some roads for so long that youre bound to miss your exit (I still do sometimes lol) ~ they have a van that for $50 will drive a group up from Philly but I think they go on Saturdays and there are alot of visitors on Saturdays so they start to kick people out on a first in first out basis ~ personally I dont take the chance cuz I want to see him as long as I can.
