I do not understand why the largest city between do not have its own radio station on the fm dial. Some people says Magee,MS can not support a commerical fm radio station that may be true then but it is not true today. Magee,MS needs its own fm radio station iun Magee not a fm radio station claiming Magee,MS home but insteading the fm radio station is Ridgeland,MS. I know you do not need to have a radio station in Jackson,MS to get advertiser and I wish someone who come along and put a commerical fm radio station in Magee,MS. I beleive if Coulumbia,Ms can have 3 fm commmerical so can Magee,MS support that. Jackson,MS is a hog and the way their fm radio station coverage news, sports and the weather they tend to focus on Jackson,MS not the other listen area like Simpson County. I wish someone would put three fm radio station in Magee,MS. One station will be country music, the other fm radio station can be all-sports, and the third fm radio station can be all oldies music from the 1950- thru the 1990's or it could be a news-talk fm radio station that carries sports also. I grew up liking the local fm radio station but today on friday night there aren't any radio station carrying high school football anymore and that is wrong, I can understand some congomeralte points of view they think people do not listen to high school football but have to disagree with them because where I am from high school is popular and it seems the only thing the hogs that own want to do is play music and I love music but I can listen to music with cds, records, tapes, stellite radio, ipod and wish so called local radio station would care about their comunity to play something that is all music but air high school football games again. There are a lot of high school football games that I wish I could listen to radio in Magee,MS but you can not listen to any local high school football games except Bropokhaven, Oak Grove, Petal, Hattieburg, Prentiss Christian, Columbia, Parklane Academy, and other high school football teams. Someone could put a fm radio station in Magee,MS and carry Magee Trojans Football Games or carry the best high school games of the week from the magee trade area by covering not just Magee but also covering the best football games from Simpson-Covington-Smith area. There are a lot good football teams in this area and it is stupid not have a local fm radio station in Magee,MS covering this great rival games on a weekly basis.
