i just saw a report where several towns and states were considering banning texting while walking laws. ou know folks are getting more stupid if yoke this. people certainly seem to be getting dumber and dumber. i know folks seem moe stupid than they were 30 or 40 years ago. it's probably all the mobile devices ad social networks tha are making people this stupid. i have never understood th appeal of texting. i remember when there were no cell phones and folkshad to cll you at home. you cn say in that respect technology is a bd thing. in the good old days, drivers weren't distracted by cell phones. i prefer to make or take calls. i have never undestood why a lot of folks want to fidle with a keypad on a moble device while driving, which has killed a lot of folks. it would seem to me calling someoe would be much easie. i don'tthik there should be laws aganst texting while walking. you an't legislate good sense. if folks are that stupid, you can't help them. legislators are to busy these days. they want to legislate everything. they are aso to arrgogant. here in wisconsin there was a member of the state legislture who was ill wih ancer and the state legislature passed a resolution to ''cure'' her of cancer. you have to be pretty arrogat to think a reslution can cure someone of cancer. if some folks arestupid enough to risk hir lives or other peoples' lives texting while driving or walking, new laws are not going to stop them. you can't legslae morality or intelligence. lawmaker should stick with laws that punsh harming others. stupiity is an affliction that efects uch of humanity. passing new laws won't stop it.
