1 killed, 2 wounded in Murrieta stabbing

Authorities in Riverside County are hunting a man they believe stabbed a woman to death and wounded two other people at a Riverside County home.

Does anyone that live in the immediate area have anything to report? Why no update from the police? Is this dude running loose after the police had him in sight, and he's on foot? Why hasn't a police dog tracked him down by now? Hopefully this dude isn't running around loose tonight. I hope all the people that are in the immediate area are aware. My condolences go out to all affected families from this tragedy.

The suspect has run into a very dense area of trees and brush. there is also a creek which is flowing. IF the suspect has been in the creek for some distance it is possible that the dogs would lose the scent. I believe this will come to and end very soon. The Murrieta PD will do everything possible to ensure the safety of everyone in Murrieta.

Murrieta PD will not let out too much information in case the suspect has access to media. They would not want the suspect to be informed of the progress. They have issued statements and who it is they are looking for.

The suspect is a black male 19 y/o 6 ft 3 inch and 120 lbs. I would think he would be fairly quick. I am sure the officer didnt want to start shooting in a housing tract.

Police are tracking a blood trail in front of my house right now because he's apparently hiding out in the woods around here. I'm freaked out.

Just stay inside and make sure everything is locked. I've had the helicopters flying over my house all day. Its definately a little unnerving.

Someone is harboring him. I live on the next street over and am freaking out. I wouldnt let my kids out all day. Whoever is helping him hide should come to their senses and turn him in.

it's on Milkwood / Hancock in Murrieta. Street has re-opened. As of the 11pm Channel 2 news... they are still searching for him but not in this area anymore...maybe more on the outskirts of town but not around this street / area anymore.

Hi everyone, I'm Connor's step-grandfather, the young boy who was stabbed. I understand he's making a full recovery now and will be taken off a ventilator tomorrow. Our thoughts at this time are with the bereaved family for having lost their precious daughter.

We have no idea what was in this scumbag's mind, but hope the police do a apprehend him and soon. Anyone can do such a thing is a danger to humanity everywhere. Please inform the police immediately if you see him or know of his whereabouts.

Thanks folks, think of that poor family and try to have a nice Christmas.

If any one would like to help the family they are open at murrieta valley high school for people to donate to the family or light a candle or anything else it will be held tommarow from 8-10 at murrieta valley high, also if anyone in the area we are still trying to find one dog he is a terrior mix white his name is ARCHIE, if find him he maybe hurt we are not sure but please take him to animal hospital in the area. they will help him and contact me, I have their other dog. PLEASE help us find ARCHIE.
