First of all, in regards to the first post, you may be right in saying that the public should not assume the guilt of Ms. Saunders, however you need to understand that she, at this point is the only suspect, and has been arrested and charged with this crime. You seem to think that she was arrested simply because Kristy said she did it. If you really think thats how the judicial system works, I suggest you do some research. Secondly, Ms. Saunders has the chance to defend herself in her trial.
In regards to the second post, I am deeply sorry for your loss. I can not imagine the heartbreak of losing a child. I do however want to point out what you wrote in your last sentence, the fact is there is alot you can do, beyond praying and sending cash donations. There are plenty of ways to advocate for children of abuse as well as pushing for legislation for stiffer laws as they pertain to child abuse. You can also volunteer at a local teen or youth center, big brothers and big sisters etc. I would also like to point out that we, the general public are not aware of the facts of this case and will not be untill the trial begins. We are not entitled to this information. I personally feel that the investigation led to the arrest of Ms. Saunders for a reason. There is alot of speculation surounding this case, but the truth is, we can not and will not solve this crime with the information we find online. The sooner some people realize this, the better off we all will be. |

There's a reason that the police have no reason to believe Kristy did this to Kaleb. If the police had any reason to believe that she did do something to him, then he would most certainly NOT be in her and her husband, Josh's, care right now.

1 I just don't what to agree with, the whole thing is fishy. If my child was that sick and I was innocent, the last thing I would be doing is sitting on the computer all day and trying to make people believe me. In my opion, the day care worker is innocent until proven guilty. Maybe Kaleb's parents should be questioned and possibly take a lie detector test. JMO |

I am sorry to hear what has happened. I feel so much for this family. If Saunders says shes so innocent, then do a lie dector. I pray for this family and may Kaleb be healed.

myspace for sure

She has people helping with her page... they have to stay on 24/7 because people keep attacking her on her page. Reading 'her' story hasnt made me a believer...I believe she is guilty as all hell. She blatantly lied about her domestic violence arrest... Why would she tell the truth about something THIS huge? I really hope they put the correct person behind bars for this. *lie detector tests are inadmissable in court |

I think that everyone on here is starting to lose focus of what is really important here...and that is Baby Kaleb. He needs thoughts, prayers, and support from those that love him. Not accusations, pointing fingers, and nasty comments.
It is very common for a parent (or anyone for that matter) who is dealing with a lot of pain to turn to some sort of support group.(Look at families who have a member with cancer...or ones with alcoholics...they have TONS of support groups for them) Kristy chose to turn to her friends and family through her myspace page. I don't know how many of you have myspace, but surfing through everyone's pages is quite easy to do...and Kristy has no control over whether people either on her friends list or off of it point out her blogs to others. Word spread about Kaleb and his story....AND THANK GOD IT DID. PRAYERS HAVE BEEN WORKING AND ATTENTION HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO THE HORRIBLE REALITIES OF WHAT SHAKING A BABY CAN DO. Kristy has never once asked for fame, money, or anything other than for others TO PRAY FOR HER LITTLE BOY. Please remember that. I too hope the person that committed this horrible act against an innocent and defenseless little child gets what they deserve. In the mean time though....I REALLY hope that everyone focuses on Kaleb getting better and being able to live a quality of life that he deserves. Please pray for Baby Kaleb, support those that are supporting him, and be nice. Being nasty helps no one. |

2 Just because Kristy Schwade has convinced the police and everyone else that someone else assaulted her child does NOT make it so. The police made an arrest based on the sequence of events as told to them, there is little other evidence. The fact that Kristy Schwade made all her old blog posts complaining of all the "Drama" in her life disappear very quickly after Kaleb's injury, and has done nothing but campaign for her side of the story triggers my BS alarms all over the place. Add to that the psychology of the overwrought parent and most of the circumstances of the story, it seems completely obvious to ME what actually happened. Kristy found herself a scapegoat. The daycare provider is innocent until proven guilty. Being arrested means very little, we do not have summary judgement after arrest in our society. They need to prove a case, something which will likely be very difficult. |

No one 'has to stay on 24/7'. For whatever reason, she feels the need to defend herself. Web paged be damned if my kid was in the hospital. This need to be so defensive really sets off all alarms. That and what she said on the pages that are now gone. |

God knows what Happen and who ever is responsible for the struggle this sweet baby has had to endure. They will pay on judgment day, maybe not in the courts. I pray that the law will do the right thing and justice and some peace will be brought to this family.
