Did Political Correctness help kill at Fort Hood?

Now that the stories are coming out on what was known and suspect of Nidal Malik Hasan, just look at how the Media and the president reacts.

Of course political correctness was a factor in the situation.

But, also this guy should have had his ass kicked several times by members of the military that were in contact with him and knew of his attitudes.

The "ball" was dropped from top to bottom by the military in this situation.
The current military is lacking in backbone and decication. Which is only a reflection of their leadership.

When the leadership is allowed to be weak, the entire enity will be weak.

His very first actions should have been suspect and investigated as a threat to the country. Not overlooked as not being important.

obama insulted all military and once again slapped them in the face today.

he choose Veterans day to "salute" military veterans by saying to the active members in war zones.....keep on fighting and getting killed, i'm still not going to decide to do anything about your war.

Does anyone know how often this (mass shootings on military bases) happens in America? What about compared to other countries?

The Ugly Truth is that our government is so large and inefficient that doing ones job is 100% irrelevant. Not doing something to bring attention to ones self, especially a profiling charge is the most important. Absolutely. I have been reading quite a few articles on this guys and he was setting off warning signs everywhere. From a medical conference to where he talked about jihad to trying to contact Al-qaeda. Even his superiors noted it but were to concerned about losing their jobs or killing their careers by saying anything and being painted racists or anti muslim.

However, I do fault those who were too scared to speak. Ultimately was your career worth the lives that were lost or injured? I understand that it may have changed nothing but my conscious would rest much better knowing that I tried to point him out and it was ignored. Now those who knew about him will have to live with the fact they might have prevented this for the rest of their lives.

Why have we returned to being passengers on a plane sitting quietly instead of the passengers who rose up and took on their hijackers. He was was born and raised in Virginia, On a form for those looking for spouses through the mosque he listed his birthplace as Arlington, Virginia, but his nationality as Palestinian

People who knew Mr. Hasan stated had tried, but failed, to find an equally religious woman to marry.(Sounds like he my have had some pent up frustration.)

Based on this we know that Mr. Nidal Malik Hasan was of Palestinian decent, which makes him of Arab decent more than likely. Chances are better good that he is not Jewish and thus not on European Decent, which more than likely makes Slim wrong again.

americans have become weak, afraid and concerned for nothing but their own selves.

americans will not stand up for anything that will cause them personal trouble or inconvenience their own personal lives.

a weak people governed by weak leadership.

The military is being worn down by a war without leadership or support just the same as the public sector is being worn down by the economy and unemployment without leadership or support.

america will be taken over without a whimper. The war on americans is being waged by their own government.

I do. We are at war because of failed republican policy.. We attacked Iraq instead of dealing with those involved with the 9/11 attack, we lost all credibility when that happened. Anything can happen at anytime with this war. There are no guarantees.

Get over it folks and except the facts. Those that were slain at Fort Hood are dead because of Bush, and failed republican policy.
