We hiked up to the lake and all I have to say about that place is there is something evil about it. We all had a very intense creeped out feeling while there. A very heavy feeling. It wasnt until later that week that I went online a saw where others had felt the same way. There is something "very wrong" with that place, especially around the lake and dam area.

formeraradcliffi an Louisville, KY	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #30 May 18, 2012 i heard some years back some ft.knox game wardens was chasing a thing in there that looked like a BIGFOOT it ran down toward the dam and old water treatment plant there is a cave there with water coming out of it well they seen it squeeze itself into that entrance well the story goes they threw a few sticks of dinamite in there and sealed it up .....a few years later a kid from radcliff that lived on spring street found a arm and hand with matted hair on it some people from antimalogy on ft.knox came and got it and they never seen it again ft'knox reservation is a large place and i believe they killed a bigfoot and i believe they are living on the reservation til this day

I would walk alonr or with a few people, worse we ever saw were older veterans. had a blast as a kid!:)
formerradcliffia n Louisville, KY	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #33 May 25, 2012 there was a hermit they called WOOLEY'MAN he run around in the woods for years he lived around the hill street area around the croncrete plant and rail road tracks .....a placed called the old haunted house .......he was a sight to see i run up on him onetime while i was rabbit hunting he kind startled me at first then i remembered who he was ........he was a KEITH from red hill road area this was back around 1973

I went there alone one day thinking about ending it all and i kept hearing this sound...its hard to describe, its like running water kinda. Then I heard what sounded like wheels on gravel....I was really freaked out at this point man. I started walking back toward my car and heard what can only be described as unsupervised children screaming at each other.....place is totally terrifying!!

childrensake Louisville, KY	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #38 Jun 22, 2012 in 1951 there was a cable car that carried the workers down to the treatment plant because they had such a steep road and they had not cut a road safe enough to be used .......well anyway some kids got in the gondola of the cable car and was horsing around with it and the hand brake failed the cable car plunged down to the bottom of the treatment plant at a speed of 100mph and it killed all six children they were military dependants from ft.knox and after that happened they took the cable car down they always claimed the after that the worker would her children talking and screaming around the creek area some even claimed to see things like shadows moving around the the old water treatment plant
