And the words from the bible are God's words not mine. I'm just quoting what His word says. If you have a problem with that then take it up with Him, not me. But just remember one thing, when it comes to the bible don't take anyones work for it. But read it for yourself. The bible are God's words to the point that a mere man wrote those words to his own interpretation. God created all, even those who are gay. Like it or not the majority of Gay people in the world were born this way. Do you really think someone would choose to persecuted and judged? I think not!

LMAO at these gay bashers. They have nothing to say about murderers, child molesters, other types of people who actually HURT people, and cause pain. Why don't they put their energy into something else instead of two people who just want to be married and have a life together.Fools. You get that crown, Queen!!!

Discerning is different from judging. You yourself have a code of morals you go by, whether you admit it or not. I'm sure it wouldn't be ok for me to steal from you, and why not? Why is stealing bad? I'm sure you wouldn't want anyone breaking into your car, now would you? Where do you think your moral codes originated from? They came from the Ten Commandments, which were written by God Himself, and given to Moses. The bible is the reason you have laws, and enforce those laws. Qtpie wrote: <quoted text> I'm almost positive that in the Bible somewhere it says "thou shall not judge". You want to religiosly persecute someone when you're not following all "the rules" yourself. It also says "he without sin cast the first stone". You should check yourself before you shower your religious antics on someone. A sin, is a sin, is a sin. Thank you.

God also gave us rules to go by, and a mind with which to make a choice, as to whether or not we will follow His rules, made clear in the Bible. God says homosexuality is a sin. He says it in the Old and the New Testament. God also created plants that will kill you if you eat them. Are we persecuting the poor plants because we label them as poison? No. People are not born gay, they're made that way, by sinful behaviour from other people. God would not create a population of people that will die out, because it can't procreate. Homosexuals and lesbians spread their religion and idolatry, their lifestyle, so to speak, to children, or to emotionally needy other people of their own sex. Homosexuality is a CHOICE. So is abortion, lying, stealing, being lazy, and every other sin.

Why do you feel that murderers are bad people? you're judging, aren't you? What do you mean by "cause pain"? I'm betting you mean they went against YOUR moral code, and caused you hurt. You have a code of ethics. You got that moral value base from the Bible. God loves you, and all of us, but, HE GAVE US THE ABILITY TO CHOOSE between good and evil. If there was no ability to choose, then there would be no need for judges, or jails.

Bible Awesome Guy

Yes, and God also told men that women are not to speak during worship, no work is to be done on the sabbath, The Bible itself says that God cannot defeat Iron Chariots, God forced the plagues on Egypt. My moral code tells me that it's the people that don't offer a fatted calf by spilling its blood on the alter.
I can go on and on about how the Old Testament, or Hebrew Scriptures if you wish to be politically correct, are full of crap. The fact that there are 2 creation stories should be enough to show that they aren't to be taken as law.
On that note, The Bible frowns upon homosexuality, but many of the most prominent Biblical heroes were polygamists. So now you know. And knowing is half the battle.

Tradition

Why should they let this tradition be broken because of a class prank? Prom Queen is for the girls and Prom King is for the boys. Traditions need to be kept. I don't think P.C. should take over tradition on a joke.

I am not a gay basher, I have lots of gay friends, but I say "NAY". A prom queen is a young lady, not a male. This is how he was brought into the world - a man. Maybe the school should have Homecoming Queer instead of Homecoming Queen for those who want Uriel to get elected. Do not mock the tradition.
