I have a 9mm on each side of the bed and a 12 gauge pump under the bed. Guns in every room. I feel very safe. Vote for the next govenor that will give us a CC law. You must live in Beruit or Bagdhad to feel it neccessary to arm yourself like that.

You can get shot just getting in your own car, even just walking your dog. Carrying a gun "Legally", would be great. Kind of an insurance policy. I have many friends in lawenforcement. My best friend works for the lake county district attourneys office. He says, any time you think of using a gun in any situation, think first of the cinder block walls of prison, because there are no gaurantees of a good outcome in using a weapon on another human being.

We, responsible citizens, own weapons so our country DOESN'T turn into Beirut or Baghdad.. "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." A small group of men, hundreds of years ago, got it. Why don't you?

Where did I say anything about the legality of carrying a weapon? I didn't.
I am just wondering why anyone feels like they have to be armed while taking the garbage out and would need several weopons at their bedside.
The crimes we have in Kenosha doesn't seem to require such precautionary measures. I could understand if there were roving gangs of bandits or kidnappers, similar to Beirut or Bagdhad. But in Kenosha, nah, haven't seen anything that would make me think one needs to walk around packin' heat while taking the garbage out.

To question any ones right to carry or arm themselves with what ever they deem necessary shows you have no idea what the Second Amendment is for. Please read it and more importantly understand it before you make stupid remarks.

And once again, I was not questioning anyones right to bear arms.
All I'm asking is what makes someone think they can't take the garbage out without having to be packing. Seriously, is this town that dangerous?
Look at it this way. Assuming 10,000 people take the garbage out each week in this town. That is approximately half a million trips to the curb each year. How many people have been attacked taking the garbage out? Any have the number for us? I'd put money on the under.

How come Kenosha County Board Supervisors give themselves health insurance, but refuse to provide coverage for the many seasonal employees that have worked for the highway and park department for years? It would be more fair to give these hard working people the health insurance they deserve.

But you better know how to live in the big city. Like I said, you just sit in your car and can get shot. Walk your dog and can get shot, walk through the alley and can get shot. My brother was brutally murdered "Area Man". You have no idea what some people have gone through in there lives. Change, is difficult in some instances.
