How is it DEMOCRACY when these FOOLISH DEMOCRATS are allowed to break the law, leave the state to Illinois to spend time at a Resort...goes to show they don't care about the american people.

How much longer do we need to put up with them until we FIRE all of them out of office.

Actually, it would be wonderful if Obama were to join the Madison protesters. It would show the voters where he stands. With union thugs and overpaid, overprotected government employees, and against the taxpayers.

Because they are being threatened. The government is trying to take their rights away. The best thing fruit loop Walker can do is reach a compromise so the teachers can get back in the classroom and focus on kids.
They don't have a right to these things.

They have the same rights as the rest of us.

Yes, we all have the right to bargain for better wages and benefits. Why take that away from anybody? But this corrupt governor is targeting TEACHERS of all people. These are normal people we see around us everyday in our communities. Government needs to keep out of the classroom.
Indeed, no unions in the classroom, no democrats bought with union money generated by teachers in the classroom..

Cry me a river. Their "rights" are nothing more than feeling "entitled" to be taken care of by taxpaying citizens which, according to you, is MORE important than teaching the children. The State Government is requesting that they contribute to their pensions and health care benefits, just like the rest of us civilian workers, PLUS the Government is trying to take away their right to sue the general tax-paying public for even more "entitlements".

Times are tough for everyone. They are no exception. I do my job, they should be doing theirs.

No corporate money corrupting politicians
And?

Where were the democrats?

Did they not control both houses of congress and the White House?

If they wanted campaign finance reform they could of passed it.

I guess they didn't.

Instead they push for amnesty and card check, while opposing voter ID and E verify.

Part of the problem, not the solution.

Of the many threads started on these message boards about the Wisconsin situation, this might be the most delusional. Why would the President of one of the leading nations on earth waste his time with this issue? He owes nothing to the people calling for his appearance.

This union supported his Presidential bid you say? That may be true. The reality is he recieved what he wanted and has moved on. Regardless of the past, there is no need to get dirty with the rabble. He gains nothing by appearing.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Aquarius

The emotional atmosphere is quite potent under this Lunar Eclipse, evoking a sense of crisis. The problems you've been experiencing with a certain person lately come to a head during the next fortnight, making you feel that you have to take drastic action or lay down the law. Yet this could make the situation worse than ever, especially if you act from a sense of panic or desperation. Take things gently and don't throw your weight around unless it's absolutely necessary.
